They have claimed to have submitted to Apple
Yer I read that on there facebook. Thought it would be here by now. Need fl studio 3, beatmaker 3 and nano studio 2
and Samplr update, and sample import for the playground app^^^
Maybe they're waiting for AB3?
If you have FL Studio 12.4(Producer Edition) the FL Mobile 3 is in VST form. The same as what is going to be released on IOS. It also has Transistor Bass. Here is a little ditty I have been playing around with FL Mobile 3 within FL Studio 12.4
Tempting.
That's brilliant that. Getting me more excited for its release.
Thanks mate. ...... I would very much urge you to save up & buy the Desktop. Once you have it, it's "Life Time Updates Completely Free!" Whereas Steinberg Cubase/Ableton Live, ect, you have to pay for. For example, in 5yrs time it could be FL Studio 16, & it will be still free. It also complements all Tablets, whether your still with iOS, Android, or Windows OS. Eventually, Image Line will have FL Studio for a Mac(still work in progress, as Windows was written in Delphine). So everything will be one Unity. Or better still, if you have the money, keep checking for when they have there sales(it's not very often tho).
Lately appstore reviews have all gone through within 24-48 hours tops. So if it's in Cupertino right now it should be out any moment.
Yer I have played about with the free demo version. I've got a good understanding of it. But it just a little hobbie to me. So I wouldn't wanna spend that much money. That's why I stick to ios apps lol
Mac version is still some way off though. The Alpha build has made some real progress over the last year, but probably at least another year, if not two for something production ready.
That announcement was several days ago, and sounded a bit tentative to me ... something like "we have released what we hope to be the final release candidate to Apple". My guess is they have had to iron out some things to get it approved.
@brambos, what we really need is for you to do a "RuisBass" AU.
Yes you are probably right. When it does come tho, at least it will an alternative DAW & competition for Logic & Garageband.......... Mind you, you could use it via Apples Boot Camp, or VMware thingy? Still, I didn't think a couple of years ago technology for iOS would come this far? It's a shame Ableton didn't go this way........... But who knows what's around the corner, as each year Apple bring out more powerful iPads & iPhones? .....
I've thought about that, but doing a 303 is no walk in the park. It's a notoriously difficult sound to crack and the analog hardliner hordes are always waiting with their torches and pitchforks to find the most obscure discrepancies between the original unit and your digital abomination. Even Roland took several tries to get it right :-)
One day I may try.
Unless there's a problem, right?
It wouldn't be the first time a music making app got held up in review.
@brambos A man must have a Grail....
A man with your extreme programming talent?........... @brambos, in our eyes, you could never do wrong........... We always appreciate the hard work in what you do......... And that goes to all Devs(@rim/@sebastian/etc) I know this sounds like a little Ass Kissing, but if it wasn't for you Devs Gurus, the music IOS making community would maybe non existent?....... As in the same way as tha Android community are, at the moment......... Come on!.......... Have a little go mate?......
If you do, I'll let you borrow some of my Spider-Man comics?..... lol ......
Wait, do they allow Inter-App audio and/or Audiobus? It looks like it's currently a closed architecture deal, which will kinda suck since FLM doesn't have nearly as many synths and such as Gadget. Then again, FLM has an advantage....audio tracks. Also, better selection of effects of which I think we could place more than 3?
Yeah, attempting a 303 clone would be suicide. But making a bass machine that happens to be capable of making those sounds among others seems like it would be right up your alley, and the perfect compliment to Maker, FM, and Phase.
You didn't try to do an 808, 909 ... clone with RuisMaker, but one can certainly get those kinds of sounds out of it. Your individuality and design in a BassMaker (RuisBass?) would be awesome baby!
I tried the Beta version for a while ( Wine Bottler sort of arrangement ) and running in VM, but it was too much hassle. Over time I switched out a lot of PC software packages when I became a Mac Daddy and for music I went with Ableton & Logic in the end. ( Also Reason, but I'd had that for years already anyway ).
I'll definitely try to rekindle my FL studio love when it becomes viable though; I did have a lot of fun with it back in my PC days. Especially if FL Studio Mobile 3 works well. It's up against Gadget, in my mind at least, so it's got a lot of work ahead of it
Windows Store version is now live (joining the Android version) and the iOS version is "scheduled for release once it passes certification" -- all versions are listed as 3.1.1.0.
Well, Andriod came out first(looks like there problems are calming a bit down now??)...... Now the Windows version is out. That means we are next. I did email Image Line suggestions about requirements before releasing it on their forum(IAA/AudioBus/Link/AU Units, etc). I would rather wait a little bit longer & have it right for when it's released. It's going to be the same as the Desktop version........ which will be Fab......
but its almost christmas. i want it now.... they said.
I'm thinking they either lied about it being submitted or it bounced right out of submission and they're frantically trying to fix some issue, or non-issue, Apple insists gets addressed.
I think they submitted a new beta.
is anybody able to redownload version 2? doesn't work for me on iOS any longer...
I redownloaded FLM2 a couple weeks ago so the update notification will appear on my app store icon when FLM3 arrives.
They just announced 50% sale on all plugins though...
