Did i missed it, have gadget audiotracks? Reason have it,
I figure (pro) with (midi)mixer with mute/solo & record the root changes > song mode & more then 3tracks would be very welcome
Reason on iOS would be everything I've been looking for in an app, although I don't know how likely it is. I've pretty much given up on Cubasis and the like, at least while state-saving, AU support and MIDI implementation is such a hodge-podge.
Gadget is still a firm favourite but it really needs audio tracks and a proper arranger now. There's only so far I can go with scenes and patterns. An arrange window with MIDI clips you can move around and between tracks, with a few basic MIDI functions and stuff...that'd really be great!
Hmmm, that seems more of an announcement about the first Live Stream rather than vice versa.
I didn't see anything in the video to believe Jakob would be announcing a new app. Knowing how excitable Jakob is from watching his previous videos I believe that if he had BIg News to share then we'd be in no doubt about what we were tuning in for.
Think it would be unlucky for him to have us all tune in for something that's not happening.
The Transistor Bass VST is on special offer 49USD until December 1st. Then it's 79USD...... But only works with FL Studio 12.4 & up only. The iOS version, I cannot tell you. Well, all I'll say is is much, much cheaper(obviously)......... Sorry Under NDA, ect.
I'm wondering if there will be any 'quests' on the show or if it will be a two hour monologue and some fingering
I agree, which makes it ironic that in Reason you're stuck using a mouse to deal with an 80's hardware paradigm. Hopefully they don't try to port that paradigm over to iOS, like so many other developers have done.
Yep, scenes = yuck in my book. Plus gadget needs proper synths. I know they've brought out oddyssei now, but the others are so light in features, I get bored very quickly with them and struggle to come with anything but basic sounds. That keybord as well is a joke!
Reason is on a different level to gadget and I really don't think iPads will be able to handle it in its current form.
Saying that, a port of one of the early versions (even v.1) of reason would be lovely and would hopefully run on an iPad 4 or less.
What about NanoStudio 2? Wonder if that's still coming?
