  • I really like using the filter section in 76 Sunthesizer on other apps. It is much better than Filtatron (yeah, I'm a heretic)

I've been curious about RF-1. It's also universal, AU, and on sale... but there aren't any reviews at all at the iTunes store. Not even for previous versions. Anyone have this and can offer insight?

Dedalus or RF-1? I've got enough delay stuff already. Love the Dedalus dev, but also love RF-1 is AU.

Dedalus is the most adventurous delay I have ever heard, hardware or software. Everything can be modulated.

Agreed, and if you're a desktop type... that version is IMHO even better, and quite different, I'd say even more experimental.

Someone help. I have so many delays, but.........
ApeDelay or Dedalus delay or aufx dub?

They're all cheap as chips. Buy what you can afford. I suggest demoing as much as possible to help you decide.

I went with apedelay. Been watching this one for a while and Dedalus just seemed too out there for what in looking for. Apedelay looks different enough from what I already have. We'll see.
    Thanks.

  • Not iOS-related, so a bit off-topic here but maybe someone has been waiting for this: NI Reaktor 6 is 50% off, current price = $100

  • We're all waiting for that REAL auria pro sale homie

  • Mr grim mr rim I gotta _$100.00 at least on ur auria PRO! Hook it up maaaaing!!!

Assuming KORG shows up for the sale, I think this is the time for me to pick up iElectribe (NOT the Gorillaz Edition). It'll be $9.99 again, if the sale pattern holds up.

Well, your wait is over ;)

  • I like reverb fdn, but so far can not get apedelay to "delay". There is no time parameter. Not that I need it to say 'time' on a knob but I can't figure it out so far without it.

If you have an iPhone, you can get iElectribe for iPhone instead - it works well on an iPad.

I haven't heard anything, but it's possible. They just had a sale a couple of months ago.

I thought about it, but went with the iPad version since they're the same price and I'll be wanting to use this on a bigger screen. They haven't been updated in a year, so I'm hoping KORG has something in the works (universal, Link, AU, etc.).

  • Good choice going with the iPad version. I had a lot of fun with iElectribe and there's nothing wrong with it today.

"cheap as chips"? Is that an English thing like "brilliant" and "cheers"? ;)

Yes. It originates with TV personality David Dickinson. He says it around 2:50 something.

Well, after two years of heavy iPad use and heavy app store spending, I've finally reached the point where I can find nothing to get. The iMS-20 would just be for completionists' sake, the sound doesn't stack up to the Moog or Odyssey. Strange feeling. I guess I'll re-buy some Prince albums with credit.

  • Not iOS, but soooooo good:

I'm surprised Korg haven't joined the party yet

They are usually 'spot on' with the timing so I would expect them to do something on Friday.

Second that. Probably we'll also see a 24 hours discount of Korg Odyssei. pricetag probably 14.99

btw this thread just reached more than 10K views and Black Friday hasnt even started yet. :) :) :)

That's what an MS20 sounds like, they have a thinner sound to a Moog - the emulation is actually spot on :)

Weirdly though, the single oscillator MS10 sounds fatter than the MS20, at least the ones I've played with.

I'm not into final mixing on iOS, so how cheap this kind of apps are it's not for me.

Talking about best deals with biggest % cuts Final Touch is certainly one!

Other interesting deals with biggest % price cuts
Klevgrand apps 55% or more off.
Especially Enkl 5.99 now 1.99 is interesting because also AU instrument

The Field and Soundscaper bundle for 6.99 (indivual both sell for 9.99)

SilQ Equalizer on the App Store 0.99 from 4.99
GuitarCapo+ on the App Store 0.99 from 4.99

And stereosun $9.99 now $3.99 they just implemented LINK and other features

Most price cuts are 50% to 40%

  • Honestly it looks like Positive Grids are f***ing with the price on Final Touch to give a false impression of a huge saving. Only for very short periods has it been priced at the "normal" $19.99. At least for as long at the tracking history is available at Appshopper.
However good the app is, that behaviour is not OK IMO.

Oh yea, Thanks! Need to think a bit, a bit less would be a no brainer, but I have logic pro and all its synths and the full Neva package as well on my MBP, not mention ~100 iOS Synths as well. tick, tock, tick, tock, .....

I've seen that too but figured it was their version of a loss leader, where Final Touch is available for a very low price, the Positive Grid brand gets to show off a quality ware, hoping to influence an iOS musician to check out BIAS, JamUp, etc...
