Downloaded the Pro version. Seems a very cleaver looper. I like the way it links to my iTunes library. Tried it in AB with Launchpad separate stream major Audio glitch on iPad Pro 9.7. Tried BlockWav no problem! Was trying it out with AB remote with other link app. The slide option in iOS can get in the way of the slide function of this app but not too bad. Wish it had a better manual as the main resource is the website with videos. Hope it gets IAA at some time. Definitely unique among looper and DJ apps worth the money.
Apologies it does have IAA as a generator cool.
The Pro version will be 3.99 on black friday sale.
Oops something went wrong, just posted half of me resonse. Please read me complete answer about implement external effects (external apps) below.
Thankx @mannix, really appreciate it!
The app is on sale now.
Very Cool!
As said the concept is really interesting and this could become one of the best audio perfomance apps.
What would make it a MUST buy if you could directly use external effect apps like the ones from ApeSoft, Klevgränd, etc. In the same way as the the standard fx's the come with the Stereosun app. Are you going to implement this?
@mannix you mean for Stereosun to act as a AU host right? That would sure be awesome, we haven't started implementing this yet (only brief research) because we are focused on the iPhone version ATM. We were kinda biased between going into a music player or a production/performance thing but recently decided that production/performance is the right way (I also use it that way myself). If external synths / fx can be included this would broaden the options a lot and open up a whole new array of possibilities. I can not promise you when this will be implemented but we definitely have a wish to include it.
Yes right AU host. External synths and fx would make it an unique performance instrument/ DAW. So far I know there's nothing like that under iOS and I'm sure a lot of people will like it.
iPhone version, does that mean that will you make Stereosun a universal app, or will there be a iPhone seperate version with less functionality?
btw put your sale also in the Black Friday thread, so Stereosun will get some extra attention!
@mannix Currently, we are leaning towards separate targets for iPhone. We had a big argument about this and somehow this seems the best and the most fair scenario because the app will probably be a little trimmed down version so we can not have the same price as for the iPad. We have not decided 100% on this though.
Will put it into that Black Friday thread, thanks for the tip!
I already put it there with link to this thread
