All (hopefully...) bugs are fixed now and a new version is waiting for review by Apple. Hope that it's available soon for all of you.
Awesome ! Do apple review on weekends?/
Good news: version 1.0.1 is ready for download !
Should be all good now.
What's up with the extreme 'feedback' on the reverb when it's used as AUv3???
When using it as IAA-Effect it works perfectly.
Seems to be working nicely for me now. Thanks!
Have you tried the Reverb too when used as AUv3?(For me it creates feedback noise that can not be tamed).
As IAA-Effect it works as expected...
Feedback only seems to happen when using the AUv3 with AUM, with Cubasis it works as expected...
Yes, I tried. No problems here. Seems to be behaving the same as IAA.
Only little thing I noticed is that the on/off switches in the AU seem a little less responsive but maybe that's just in my head...
Ok thanks...
I get the 'feedback noise' when adjusting the reverb wet/dry balance but ony when used as AUv3 in AUM.
With Cubasis it works as expected.
I see. I tried only Cubasis so far. Will try AUM and Auria next.
Aum still won't load it as AU.

Master FX does much the same thing, and very well too. Nice and stable. But it's not AU.
I had no issues using it as an AU in AUM and Auria.
If this becomes stable I might just try and replace Magellan with this as my go to live vocal effect.
Ah shit, just realised it has no midi learn. Any chance of this being implemented any time soon? @VirSyn
I wrongly assumed it would have a strong midi implementation just like other virsyn apps.
No issues loading as AU in AUM. Air 2 10.1.1
And unfortunately the AU implementation is incomplete. The AU parameters are not exposed. At least I do not see them in AUM. Where you could use AUM Midi learn functionality to automate (exposed) AU parameters.
I installed Virsyn AudioEffx and it is very nice. However, there doesn't seem to be any way to save fx settings on the AU.
True, but I don't use AUM live, only audiobus due to loopy integration.
That's strange I'm using and iPad Air 2 with iOS 10.1.1...
When I tweak the wet/dry balance of the reverb it starts to produce 'feedback'. This only happens in AUM and when loaded as AUv3, as an IAA-Effect it works as expected.
Using Cubasis it now works without any issues at all.
Oh well, Cubasis is my main host for AUv3 so it's no biggie...
No issues loading. I just tested that, not tweaking etc.
I would like to see an update on AudioEffx where saving fx settings on AU is supported.
I've got one wish when it's used as AUv3, add an option to toggle the spectrogram on/off when adjusting the EQ.
The 'file player' feels a bit off when used as an AUv3 unless there is a desire to mix multiple songs from the iTunes library into a total cacophony![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
This thing looks very intriguing!
I know it doesn't have MIDI learn yet, but can you toggle the effects on and off like guitar pedals?
If so, I would buy it - except for Guitar oriented apps like Bias or Amplitube and Flying Haggis, there are surprisingly few iOS apps that are laid out like a rack of pedals for live use. But as a keyboard player, I don't really want all the guitar amp sim stuff, etc.
However, to be useful for live use, you also need to be able to quickly trigger the effect on and off like you would guitar pedals - hence my question. Also, I own all the above apps, but only Amplitube lets you trigger them effect on very quickly, which is critical for lets say turning a delay on at just the end of a musical passage, to get have the trails echo off. Even though I prefer the effects in Bias, I have to use Amplitube for this effect.
Thanks!
Wow, I really should preview my comments before posting![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Sorry about the fractured syntax and such
I haven't had time to mess with it much, but I'm thinking maybe you can create several busses in AUM, each with it's own instance running a combo of effects, that you can toggle on and off with AUM's midi controls.
I'm guessing @VirSyn has no answers for me at this moment in time.
@Samu couldn't reproduce the problem with feedback on the reverb. I assume that there was no "real" feedback via microphone ?
@Artmuzz The AU version delegates the selection and saving of presets to the host. In AUM for example you can save a user preset with the plus sign in the preset list shown by AUM.
@supadom The next version including MIDI learn (for the stand alone App, Audiobus and IAA version) is in the works already.
Nope, I had headphones connected and used the File-Player to feed the AU-Effect.
This only happens when I use AUM as the host. With Cubasis it works as expected.
I'm using iPad AIr 2, iOS10.1.1.
Here's an example, I'm using AUM File-Player to play a loop, then I add the VirsynFX app to the chain and slowly change the wet/dry balance of the reverb.

@VirSyn It would be very useful to have all AU parameters of Audioeffx correctly exposed. That enables AU host apps to enable automation of the parameters. Currently it only says "Dummy" in AUM.
Other AU apps like for example Poison-202 show up with all parameters in f.e. AUM and are therefore fully automatable via MIDI.
Bwilliant! Sorry for being an impatient monkey
