  • Nice! I'm really enjoying this app. Looking forward to the midi/audio import/export update.

    Good update!

  • Is what they've done

  • IAA Fixes sounds promising.
Is this app still on sale? And will my family understand why they got only a pair of socks for Christmas this year?

  • so does the omission of 'better sample editing' in the coming soon list mean that they already put in this current update or what?

No - you should check the to-do list for planned updates. They've asked us to be patient. ;)

Which is a pretty damn good first novel.

I've seen this one kicking around a lot again lately It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have. but overall I prefer his notion that ...one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.

  • I don't see mention of scale options for on screen keyboard. Sad.

No, I did figure out how to render stuff, and then walk across the parking lot to some other place where you can go down in the basement and copy what you've rendered, but I'm sure there must be something slicker. Although I guess if it was slicker I should have figured it out already.

Let's be clear however, I'm not complaining, just whining. Important difference :)

  • not me, I'm complaining and whining simultaneously . This is imageline we are talking about here, time to stop treating devs who've known for as long as at least half of us have been making music like kids who are making their first science project..... the fruity loops people know better!!!

  • @kobamoto On your tombstone they will inscribe the app features you are still waiting for.

  • and the remaining gear you have for sale.

Yes, I am seeing the very distant future in the bottom of my malt liquor can. Live long and prosper, @kobamoto.

Until they sort it out, I pulled out Beat Twirl, which has ACP in and out (also access to onboard ITunes library) transient detection and slice export. Pitch time tempo warp:stretch. That and a nice audio editor like Twisted Wave or Hokusai...

    Good update!

As expected it doesn't seem to make the track labels any easier to read though.

But it's still a step in the right direction :)

It's quite funny how a few negative issues make it easy to overlook the other areas that are actually pretty good.
I mean I did get the Transistor Bass and Groove Machine IAPs after all and the included samples are quite nice too.

The new options for 'snapping' are nice even though there seems to be a limit as to how short a note can be 'drawn' (half grid-size or 1/32nd note) but it can be moved in finer steps set by the 'snap magnet'. I'm thinking once alternate grid views become available we'll be able to draw matching notes too.

In some aspects it's like 'Gadget' where everything can be automated as it should be.

I'm using track colouring to help a little with this. Always use the same colour for drum tracks, another colour for bass, another for chords etc...not perfect but it helps a bit

  • Every little helps. Think I may do the same, maybe base it on the blocs wave colours :)

I am way closer to my death than my birth and my eyes have been bad for most of it. I don't have any trouble reading track labels on either my little 5S or my Air 1. Screen brightness maybe?

;) That's what I'm trying to do, not perfect matches but close enough for comfort.
