  • @SecretBaseDesign is it free update or the pitch to midi is IAP?

Could you add numbers in the keyboard ? C1 C2 D3 etc... and please make the keyboard start on a default note range! (It defaults to the lowest octave)
About the playhead: is it possible to add a " follow" button somewhere? (or toggle by double tapping the ,hmmmm, 'object' that allows you to swipe left and right, my English sucks!)
    Thank you!

This is one of those thingsthat, small as it may appear, gets me every time I open up this lovely piece of kit :)

  • This looks awesome!

Free update. I hate IAPs, and am doing my best to avoid them. The bundle will let people who bought MIDImorphosis or Voxkit upgrade to Infinite at reduced cost (or for that matter, people who have bought Infinite may be able to pick up both MM and VK for free). I really appreciate the support I've gotten from the early adopters, so they're getting the pitch-to-MIDI free.

Added in C1/C2/C3 -- putting numbers on all the notes really clutters up the keyboard visually. With a C# indicator, you should be able to see where you are more easily. And the keyboard no longer starts at note zero.

I'll think about adding follow to the playhead, but that'll take a little longer, and is tricky. If you're doing the touch-drag to select a bunch of notes, and the playhead and piano roll move.... which notes are selected? Or if you're in the middle of moving some notes, what should happen? Gadget displays one bar at a time (without horizontal sliding), probably for this reason.

I don't think anyone wants to edit notes while the playhead is in 'follow' mode. Maybe it can be disabled when on first touch on the editor. But it's not that important as the keyboard's start point. Thank you for fixing that :)

BTW are there any plans of adding more "pro" built-in sounds? I really like jamming without launching other apps. Soundfont support would be great (sometime in the future) :)

@AudioGus : Are you a developer? Of what app(s) if I may ask?

I work in mobile games. ...would rather not say which, as many are hated. Not my fault! ;)

@SecretBaseDesign if you were to implement an optional "new notes replace old" loop recording mode (would only work for monophonic melodies I assume) well that might just put infinite looper into a league all of its own. But that's icing on the cake, something to think about down the road. Priorities

PS: I believe if you search around on the gearslutz forum archives, there was a guy who shared some code a while back for this very thing, if that would at all help make sense of it.

New user here, this one is tough to get used to! That initial low note and then "duh. I wonder why it is doing that..." and then, the "oh yeah".

The plan for this is to have a "jam" mode, where you play continuously, and the playing drops into new loops automatically. This would be along the lines of the "take folders" in things like Logic -- just keep playing over a looping section, and then go back later and pick out the takes that you like. This might make it in to 2.0, and will be in 2.1 for sure.

  • This awesome never ceases to amaze me!!!
