  • Anyone prepared to take a guess yet? :p

  • Cant decide if 1 or 3 is iSem

5 I think is either iWavestation or iM1

Knowing you there is a PPG Wave in there somewhere

I will give a clue then. There is one of the PPG apps in there :)

  • 3 could be Nave and for the rest i dont know. Sounds like it could be any synth to my ears.

  • I´m pretty sure i heard Addictive Pro and iWavestation.

  • 1 and 3 will probably be the hardest to get.
2, 4 and 5 will probably be the easiest to get.

None of the synths are using standard presets. They are all programmed by me.

    Here's some clues:

One synth could bring Roland to mind
One synth could bring Yamaha to mind
One synth is a PPG as guessed by Andy
One synth slips key in the sound as I forgot to switch a certain setting on
One synth could bring Moog to mind

    There that may help :)

You may be right with one of those ;)

Test of my memory here, using what I remember from some of your posts on apps in the past. Hang on, that makes it sound like I may have stalker tendencies :|

One synth could bring Roland to mind

    Poison 202

One synth could bring Yamaha to mind

    Phasemaker

One synth is a PPG as guessed by Andy

I bet this one is Phonem, as I heard vowel sounds in one of them

One synth slips key in the sound as I forgot to switch a certain setting on

    Odyssei

One synth could bring Moog to mind

Animoog this was a 1 in 3 chance....ruled out Model 15 cause you said you had problems getting to grips with it, then took a 50/50 punt between iMini and Animoog :)

    There that may help :)

Andy may have some helpful suggestions there. Andy may be off on some of them though ;)

  • I was thinking 1 was Moog, 3 Phonem and 5 either M1 or WaveStation. Are there any of Gadgets?

No gadgets. At least one AU synth. At least one IAA synth. All of the synths are synth only apps in that they are not parts of an app like Gadget or NanoStudio, but obviously they may be used within other apps.

O and you are close with one of those ;)

    iVCS 3 :D

Are you making a guess at one? Lol

  • With the at least one is AU, are they a single instance of the AU as opposed to 2 or more layered ?

    All synths are single instances.

  • Next let's try a blind beer taste test and you'll see some nicer results.

  • If we can't guess the synth, what does that say about synth quality on IOS when compared to VSTs from the other thread?

    Probably nothing really :p

And to be fair, some people were pretty close in their ideas, but never actually named which ones.

  • Ok. 3 of the synths have been named and 2 of the guesses are very close

  • At least one of them sounds like it could have been made using Mitosynth...

    Which one?

Number 4 as it sounds like what could be done with the wave chamber with some additive waves in Mitosynth.

I'd be interested to know what 'sample synth' Number 2 comes from as it could be a badly looped sample in BM2 :D

Ok no number 4 is not Mitosynth.

No loops just my terrible playing lol

Oh really, I was thinking about the 'looping' of the sample and the 'artefacts' when it's transposed.

  • 1 is Sunrizer
    5 is WaveGenerator

  • 4 is Phonem, 5 is iWavestation, 3 is Animoog?

    Both wrong :)
