I wonder if the Audio Evolution version of Flowtones will get the mod wheel and pitch wheel, like the standalone version just has?
@dwrae Two questions. Do you need purchase Vocal Tune before you can purchase Vocal Tune Pro. Will Vocal Tune Studio be on sale till the end of the year?
No, they are separate products. The sale will end somewhere tomorrow (I can't guarantee when exactly due to time zone differences).
Yes, as soon as I find the time.

In the App Store it says vocal tune costs $3.99 & pro is $5.99 but when I attempt to purchase either one it comes up for both as $3.99. Is the Pro also on sale for the next couple days?
Thanks for your replies!
No, PRO (v1.x) has nothing to do with it. It was the in-app purchase when the app was free-to-download years ago.
Just my experience ...
So, I've been skimming the thread, not having had any real time to use AE. But I saw that the sale ends soon so I decided to pick up the IAP. Not that I really need it since no amount of pitch correction will make my vocals listenable ... but
I know enough from skimming the thread not to look for a store button to buy it. I know that somehow the purchase option will appear "the moment it becomes relevant". Humm ... so maybe I need to record a vocal or something? Eh. Don't feel like singing into the iPad right now to find out. I did add an audio track and arm recording. Nothing happened from just arming the track though.
So, scroll up in the thread a bit and notice something about recording or importing audio. Ahh! Import some audio. Then I don't have to sing. Except I don't know or don't remember how to import audio. Been looking for it for almost five minutes. Off to look at the manual ...
Beautiful manual by the way! But really, I need to go here to figure out an ancillary way to make a purchase? OK. Found it using the Index tab and search bar. 😎 Did I mention this is a very nice manual!
OK, I'm 15 minutes into this (with short pauses to type the above) and I now have an audio clip on the timeline with a "To open the pitch and time correction tool 'Vocal Tune Studio', please double-tap on an audio clip". Double-tap the clip and up comes the needed dialog. Yay!
Looks like I may have missed the sale. 😂
Never mind that. If I wasn't determined to make the purchase, and didn't have this thread to go by. I would have either missed it entirely or given up trying to find it a few moments in, rather than sticking with it for the almost 15 minutes it took to work it out.
Purely in the interest of constructive feedback, this doesn't seem like the best way to go. Let me correct that. It's a good way to go but IMO shouldn't be the only one. I totally get where you're coming from @dwrae. Maybe it's just because we're not typical users here - we buy stuff just because it becomes available or on sale, even if we have little use for it. 😂 But still - I'll add my input that it seems like there should also be a shop button somewhere. Doesn't have to be fancy. Not the end of the world if it isn't there, but you might make more sales if it were.
You're a really great developer @dwrae, and it's been fascinating watching Audio Evolution ... evolve. We appreciate your participation in open discussion and also how patient you are with the constant influx of requests.
Happy New Year!

Dude IS developer of the year
Thanks! But may I ask what you would do and think after you went to the shop button, bought Vocal Tune Studio and received a message 'Thank you' and you would end up sitting there with an empty screen and $25 less?
That wouldn't happen. I don't part with $17 - $25 without knowing what I'm doing. But if I did end up in that situation, I would simply think I was really dumb for not doing my homework.
I understand you're exposed to a whole population of users who blame you publicly in app reviews rather than own their stupidity. So I understand. I'm only relating my experience. We're not typical users here, so there is that.
I've seen IAP screens with textual explanation of their usage. Maybe that could be used to head off questions. You also have a nice set of screens that come up when you purchase the IAP now. If those came up after the purchase from a shop, it might help as well.
The safe option to avoid negative reviews is to keep things as they are, I agree.
Brilliant - thank you!
I bought the vocal tune IAP on my phone and now I’m too dumb to find the restore purchase option on my iPad. Has anyone braved the purchase again and found they didn’t get charged?
There is a restore purchases option in the More menu. I purchase items again all the time during testing. iOS will just tell you that you already purchased the item and asks if you want to 'download' the item for free again or something. Of course, that's when you use the same account.
But all of that is not needed since restore purchases should handle all that.
Thanks! Restore did it. How I missed that I don’t know, kept looking for it in the shop! Thanks for bringing vocal tune to iOS. Seems amazing to have it after all this time.
VocL Studio Pro: Instabought
He’s correct I bought it on iPad and restored it on iPhone, no problems.
@dwrae : some centralized option also increases discoverability. Seeing a list of what is available can lead one to find out more about a feature they might have otherwise overlooked.
I don't have graphics for loops and instruments.
I think it would be enough with the sound/loop pack name and a short audio preview showcasing what one can expect from the content of the pack... (I would personally never buy a sound/loop/preset pack without any kind of preview).
Il currently using AUM for my music production although this most powerful audio production but using it as full daw leads to o much complex and unstable workflow.
So I’m looking to change for an other daw.
I don’t want to return to desktop and AEM could be a good choice.
But id like the following facilities :
1- Non linear song building ( like Ableton clope or at least like GarageBand song builder)
2 - easy sample looping in tracks (eg not like the one in Cubasis. )
3- - audio stretch for loops
4 - internal audio routing
5 - song list or (ideally the possibility to load a song on a program change.
I know I ask a lot but AUM allow this and many more.
Dunno if AEM or any other daw can fill some or all these request?
I’ve try AEM but i haven’t found if someone have more infos ?
Thanks
I'm afraid not, sorry. It's just not that type of app.
Zenbeats supports most of what you described and you can try it for free. It’s much more powerful than it may seem at first… https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roland-zenbeats/id1473380367
I love AEM for what it is, but it sounds like some of the things you’re asking for may be more in ZenBeats wheel house.
Agreed. I had a similar response in mind, but didn’t wanna say it until the dev had a chance to chime in. @Schmotown is spot on. ZenBeats is the app that I thought of when I saw the list.
Happy New Year everyone! A good way to start the new year is of course with a new release!
Audio Evolution Mobile Studio v5.5.7 has been released for iOS:
Great! Vocoders here we come..
Looks like a fire update, thanks for the trackpad support.
I hope AEM is getting the hype it deserves.
Thanks! The more I delve into AEM, the more I feel it was worth the purchase.
