    Ah.. found it. @Richtowns it seems you found a bug that has been in there from the start; amazing that one slipped through all the testing for so long :#

    It's not related to the length of the pattern, but apparently it's a problem when there are 4 consecutive rests (empty steps) in the pattern. I'll fix that right away.
