How do you get sounds in/out - is it one of those email/iTunes things or does it have proper connectivity?

Not sure you can get sounds into it.

But you can record your performance and then output the wav via 'open in'.

    Thanks Matt, do-able I guess.

  • It's a lot like Figure, actually. But with a piano roll. It is definitely limited in its sound set (your bass choices are pretty much either distorted bass, wobble bass, super wobble bass, or hyper wobble bass). But there is a tab that seems to be grayed out for SAMPLE. Which would be fantastic. But it's still really cool and fun nonetheless.

Do you have any examples of some better sounds? I'd be interested to know the sort of sounds you like ;)

I'm not sure the app is really geared towards that style or even would be useful in making that type of music though.

Ah, right. Well, I think TriqTraq has a pretty varied sound palette. (Even Auxy is more varied than KRFT, I find.)
I am happy with electronic sounds; I'd just like them to be a little less genre-specific. But you're right: this is an EDM-inspired app. I suspect that offering soundpack IAPs is in KRFT's future.

  • The update on the iPad has a bug where surfaces you've created previously may not function or can be edited as the controls are too big and extend beyond the usable screen. This doesn't seem to be an issue on iPhone 6.

I can just import my own when sample import arrives....

  • who do you think is going to implement Sample Import first KRFT or Playground?

    this is my Super Bowl!

  • probably krft has people request that a lot.

  • i wrote and asked if they would implement sample import. they asked for examples of other apps that do.

That's not a great sign. A better reply would be along the lines of 'we're working on it'.

Still at least they did respond, send them links to a bunch of apps that use the document picker.
