What is the optimal bpm for your music
Mine is 72bpm
Comments
Mine changes daily.
the optimal BPM for your music implies that you only follow a certain paradigm. There is much more to discover if you really are into it.
I was once in a doom metal band that only played at 10bpm. A riff took a minute or two.
When I'm noodling around, with no particular place to go, I do it at 99bpm.
I do 'Tap-Tempo' when I have an idea...
Most of the time it's somwhere between 75-150.
Speedcore 100000 bpm

Usually 65/130 to 92
128-134
42 88 108
Something between 113-140
45 bpm. Some kinda App (pre-link) had this as the slowest possible setting back then, and most of my setups just kept that through the years... . It can never be slow enough though, for my taste...
It depends how angry I am feeling when making a tune![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
I usually end up somewhere between 90 and 130 but do not pay much attention to the number, I adjust tempo with a knob until it feels right.
Which part of the song? Some bits I run at a different BPM in parallel, others have a range of BPMs as they skip across the timeline. Wish all apps supported this..
69 uh huh huh huh

420 sounds just high enough.
The older i get, the slooooower it gets.![:/ :/](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
125 slow enough to make out individual notes of two synths playing together- but fast enough to still be quite fast.... ish
Interesting question. Obviously, we are all unique innovators, and could never be easily reduced to such a limited range. And yet: 99-108, probably. Sometimes 60 if I'm being contrarian. Never 120, if that's the default. Maybe 121.

85-115
88 (despite its connotations)
Beer per minute?
But really, these days i prefer my BPM between 80-125 mostly.
In my youth it was beyond 200 ,lol!
It depends what I'm playing but generally 80 bpm is about right for my skill level of playing guitar, and everything follows from there.
I'm a big fan of 89, 94, 104, and 120
Must be 79. Definately 79. If I have to pick one. Which fortunately I don't. Which is good.
I imagined we'd be all over the place and like it![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I don't know why I just gravitate to 72 -76 musically and vocally 88
Between 20 and 240 bpm depending upon the setup and sounds I'm working with.
1200... my audience is mostly comprised of hummingbirds
