hardly optimal, but most of my stuff ends up being around the mid 80's
128 or 137 for pop tunes. Around 104 for ballads.

90 or 126 or 140
90, 100, 122, 127
That is also my preferred range
Something 'hits me in the gut' in a positive way when mixing normal, half and double-tempo elements...

I definitely like lower bpms like 87-97 but i also do a 120 every now and again.
I tend to make beat-oriented music at 105-115 bpm. I'm on a drum and bass listening kick but I haven't made anything at that tempo (typically around 180 bpm).
2000....
This was mostly whole notes, and Different Drummer tops out around 900 bpm, but it let me dial it up to 2000, and there was a difference between 900 and 2000, but I don't know if it was truly at 2000. Actually, I prefer 50-75.
170-180 - for drum and bass
120 or slightly above for 'house' type stuff
90-120 for electronica
4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42
My usual range falls between 87-174
33⅓
I usually stick to prime numbers between 70 and 140.
Nice.
Depends. I usually just play something, and figure out the BPM later.
Most of my stuff comes directly from the mid 80's![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Variable, turning rainy at the weekend.
I was waiting for that LOL
I'm never one to disappoint![:D :D](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Which is, of course, 0.56Hz
The Nice?
Nine Inch Nails or Johnny Cash?
Can't beat a good tempo change mid-song.
"I used to be high on life. But, eventually I built up a tolerance."
Never had one, never will.
I think mine is eerily similar to the pace that I walk
85 to 96
