Hello Model 15.
Got them already.
It's a bit depressing going on the App Store these days - thanks to the recent batch of price increases for those of us in the UK 'sales' prices are not far off the old 'full' prices we used to pay. My music app buying has pretty much ground to a halt this year - only one purchase (the brilliant Reslice). This time last year I was buying an app every week.
Model 15 is worth £15 of anyone's money, but it was £10.99 on release, and now nearly £30 at full price.
Filtatron is probably my favourite filter on iOS
Just with there was a way to tempo sync the delay to session tempo. Unless I'm mistaken, only way is tap tempo?
Filtatron was my first app I purchased and never got any sound out of it. Maybe it works fine with real instruments, but using audiobus as an input never worked for me.
It used to be pretty buggy, but now it works well. Don't forget you have to manually turn up the input or you won't hear anything.
I picked up Animoog for iPhone. Have had it for iPad for ages, but someone here reminded that with both you can run 2 instances at once on the iPad![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Really ???![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Yes, I know. As obvious as that is, I hadn't considered it before. Just reminding others who, like me, may also have overlooked that fact.
is Animoog for iPhone worth it without needing the IAPs? What do they add?
Are the IAPs on sale as well?
You mean some people still don't have these ?

No sarcasm; I wasn't aware of that !
I was just angry that I couldn't use it on my iPhone...Bt now...tempted...Does it have the exact same options ? Program change also ???...Ah..;I guess I have to buy again the addons...hmm...
I got Filatron at least now for 2,99€...![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I never know on this forum
I only bought it this morning. I'm traveling at the moment in Ecuador and changed locations this morning so I haven't played with it much. But, I did load one instance of each the iPad & iPhone versions on my iPad in AUM before I had to dash to catch a bus.
Let one channel play a good pad preset on hold, while playing another preset on the other. Really cool and I should have bought the iPhone version a long time ago. It looks like most of the features from the iPad version are in the iPhone version, but I can't absolutely confirm that yet.
animoog is a peerless performance wavetable synth, an absolute hoot to play. the IAPs are nice enough but very pricey, particularly since you can easily add your own samples and there are free packs listed on https://www.animoog.org/database/expansion-packs/. everyone should have the AKWF single cycle pack!
Get all of these now if you like synths.
What's AKWF?
No idea.
Or it might be Straya fighting.
Now, that is a sound set I'd pay for. Particularly if the referees were those little pharmacist-looking guys in lab coats who stand by the goalposts in Australian rules football.
I didn't know about all of these, thank you!
Never used them inside of animoog but the AKWF collection is magic. I have them all loaded into Nanostudio's file system and it's just silly easy to create new sounds from scratch. I have a single eden preset that is set up the way I like; then it's just a matter of swapping out the waves until something interesting happens.
thanks! never thought of that
OK, for those who were curious, AKWF must be the Adventure Kid timbres.
http://www.animoog.org/database/timbres/
Not entirely sure what that means or how to employ them! But I'm on the hunt.
Excellent, I've had Animoog forever but didn't know about this (or the fact you can have two instances running).
Installing AKWF first as soon as I get a chance.
I should have known better than to wait so long to buy Model 15. Legendary. And I have no idea how to drive this beast. Where's the adsr, etc?

@DeVlaeminck thanks for that, I actually downloaded the manual months ago, lol. I just need to go read it
I'm 99% of the way there to getting Animoog for iPhone.
I've always liked this little controller and this setup video was quite cool!

Can you use MIDI in with the basic purchase, or do you have to pay extra for it?
@OscarSouth
Yes you can. The IAP is for MIDI out.
holy wow. with the changes in app store pricing the discounted animoog costs more than i paid for the model 15 at launch. nope. i'll stick to model 15 thanks! D=
