Bit and thank god I did. This thing sounds unbelievable. I'm not a synth head really but the sounds coming out of this thing immediately are musical and inspiring.
Can you import your own audio files and create your own timbres? Are there any guides worth checking out in particular?
Got it also!!! This is a beautiful beast on the iPhone SE! What a deal!!! Total must have for iOS synth lovers!
I'm using it on SE too. Having a lot of fun paired with Xynthesizr!
I had Oscilab driving it! Amazing!!!
Gonna try on iPad Oscilab driving two Animoogs. Hope they make it AU soon!
Sold! The 4 tracks recorder is free . Bought the monster pack also: very nice timbres imo.Back to my headphones
I guessing 4 track recorder isn't available for iPhone? Can't see it
I think is only for Ipad. I found the keys to small but with a midi keyboard just wow, I love how this thing scream.A nice sound module for the audio gadgets
Remember to get the movement pack
Had no idea about this! Neato!
Sounds like Adventure Kid meant these waveforms to be part of Sonic Pi, my favourite desktop-based musicking environment.
Also didn’t realize that Animoog could import other waveforms. That changes everything! So glad to have that on my iPad!
(And still not that interested in Model 15, tbh.)
Apps based on some form of the virtual analog model aren’t lacking, on iOS. But there aren’t that many apps based on wavetable synth (apart from the PPG ones like WaveGenerator, of course). So, it’s good news if Animoog does it.
Now, it sounds like there are different definitions of “wavetable” (with entertaining arguments over such). So maybe what Animoog does isn’t really the same type of thing PPG created? For instance, it sounds like Vector Synthesis à la iWavestation really qualifies as Wavetable Synthesis (it morphs between waveforms, but doesn’t use tables, or something like that). Still not clear how different the two methods happen to be in terms of sound, but quite enjoying the VS version in iWavestation.
Also didn’t realize that NanoStudio could import waveforms. Another piece of good news!
Knew something was keeping me awake, here in the EST timezone.
Anyone have the minimoog model d preset pack for animoog?
Opinions?
I love it, it's the only expansion pack that I had for a long time and I was quite satisfied with it. Ther are 4 banks of presets, can't recall how many in total, but there's a lot there.
If anything got me to buy Animoog iPhone despite the IAPs not being universal, it'd be this demo
Oh, and look the guy's got a new entry into the chord app space coming soon!
Does anyone know if the Model 15 preset packs have ever been on sale?
99% sure they have never been.
Thanks, the AB3 update has got me thinking about picking up a few
The new Structural-something one is the best. The most expensive one

I'm checking it out on the recent thread

And sorry to all for necro bumping, forgot I stumbled into this one googling, but hey, at least I tripped over a new app for the 'holics
