That extra time should ensure they build in AB and IAA inputs into the Audio Gadgets.
Phew, thanks god for that.
And add an option to route any 'Gadget Track' the the recorders for internal re-sampling together some basic audio-editing tools to prepare the recordings for Abu Dhabi and Bilbao and maybe the new 'Drum Gadget' too...
(And Import & Export using iCloudDrive/Document Picker and 'Open In...' topped with better 'file management' with folders and rename).
On the positive side this gives me more time to focus on the BM3 betas
Perhaps Apple made them a deal to get it in the Mac App Store for less of a cut, but they needed to do a cross promotional for the new iPad
You're going to mention the BM3 beta again? And in that "I've got a SEE-CRET!" tone? Today, When Korg has plunged us into darkness? Savage.
If corporate app development is anything like the corporate web development environment I've worked in, it would have gone like this:
Sales Director: "So guys, we're looking at a 28th Feb release date yeah?"
Development Team: "Unlikely, best case scenario is the end of March"
Sales Director (on phone to Marketing Director): "Yes that's fine, my guys have promised me it'll be ready for release on 28th Feb!"
A very familiar scenario.
Judging by those door frame hinges, it is evident which way that door is going to open.
Nice joke. Made me laugh.
I like the idea of some bigwig stopping by to take a peak at the project and saying whoa whoa guys what the hell is this shit we can do better than this right? Jerry who do we have who can do xyz? Get him down here. You have a month.
any chance that ios gadget 3.0 appears tomorrow and march is the release of the mac version?
The announcement mentions both versions being delayed.
Perspective
Hahaha - oh, that was good
Could be a new video series, "WTF Are Those Hinges Telling Us?"
Aw man, just found out through here that Bill Paxton died.
Can this thread go back to being about the new Nintendo until the date gets close again?
Assholes. Way to build up the suspense only to let everyone down.
FAIL
KORG or not , this was indeed a great big dish of FAIL served steaming hot.
February 28, 2017: a day that will live in infamy. Like Anonymous says: we will not forget, we do not forgive. We are legion...
I mean, I could see if the release was delayed by a couple of days, ONE week at the most. I'd have no qualms. However, a whole month is different. Steinberg were smart in not announcing when the next Cubasis will be released nor what upcoming features would make it. No build up of suspense (other than "it's coming soon"), no let downs.
It’s unconscionable. Look it up. Un-con-scion-a-ble. In all my days, I remember nothing like this ever happening before. Software is always delivered on time. This is postponed til the end of March. Anyone got a calculator? That’s like over 7 months in dog years. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m going to go kick a puppy and then set my vintage MI on fire.
I'm glad they were upfront about this. No doubt someone is getting his or hers balls kicked and the Dev team are feeling the pressure- but it does sound like what @MonzoPro said
March of what year?
Well...korg are a great company and gadget is an invaluable app for most iOS users.
It is far better that they delay the release to ensure stability than release it with bugs and trigger angst on here don't u think?
Good things are worth waiting for..
Oh well, I guess we'll just have to go back to that festering piece of mediocrity that is the current version
Blah, blah, blah, we love Korg when they Fail especially! Not that they Ever have done so.
I think this was the first time ever Korg has actually announced a date for an iOS release?
The other apps just popped out when they were ready
