cool, it's not just a microphone but also a headset, and it's not too expensive... I'm intrigued...

But it's only available with a ligntning cable? I guess that's where it gets the current from for the ANC...

Yeah it's Lightning-only, so best for use with an iPhone. These were originally retailing for £270, so I imagine they won't be available for much longer.

  • Used lots of different field recorders. My current favorite is the mixerface r4. They frequently have sales that include a stereo mic. Super quiet preamps compared to the competition and it is built like a tank with metal construction. Works as a great iPad audio interface as well. Also love my sound devices mixpre 6 but a a little more bulky if you just want something to throw in your pocket.

Ooh tempting. I do need new earphones too, so this seems to cross a few things off. These can't be plugged into a MacBook though, can they?

  • i assume with a lightning to usb c adapter it shouldn't be a problem?

Is there such a thing as a lightning to 3.5mm adapter? I guess not, right?...

I imagine they probably only work with the Lightning connection.

  • There are only a few usb c to female lightning adapters that deliver audio thru. Most are only meant for charging your phone. Have not tried one myself.
