    As an owner of an Air 1 and Mini 2 who uses the Mini much more than the Air, I would assume that the markets for each size are different enough that they'll keep the smaller size.

    I know it's anecdotal, but what if I'm a really important anecdote? ;-)

    Somehow I got the feeling Apple will dump the Mini because it eats the iPhone + models. The mini seems popular with kids as a gaming tablet though.

    I keep expecting the iPod Touch to disappear for the same reason.

    Didn't even know that they were selling them ;)
