Auria PSP Plugins Spring Sale
All PSP plugins for Auria are currently on sale for $5 USD. I currently have none. Any recommendations?

At that price I would buy them all, if I hadn't done that already...
I use PSP Echo on every track I make, for ping-pong delays and also for a fake ADT effect (Abbey Road style vocal doubling). I like it as much as Timeless, although it's a bit more basic, but easier to use than the FabFilter.
Old Timer is a great compressor that I also use a lot, especially as a bus compressor.
Microwarmer is a great limiter and tape saturation emulation, although I don't use it all that often as I find the effect too strong for my tastes, but used subtly it adds a nice feel to a track.
Pianoverb is pretty unique, and cool if you want an unusual reverb effect.
SpringVerb is the only one I never really use, but it might be useful for an old-school reverb sound, especially on guitar

Old Timer is Fab........ in fact buy the lot. Spring Reverb is excellent for that "King Tubby" sound, if you make Dub.

They're ALL $5? Aren't some of those like $40? Auria never fully clicked with me, but I did upgrade to Pro and the plugins are one of the best things about using it. Will definitely take a peek.
You are probably thinking of the Fab Filter plug ins, some of which are $40. I'm not sure what the regular price of the PSP plug ins is.

This is good news, and I'm temped by anything with the name of "microwarmer."
But it also seems out of step with the times. Why would I spend money in the Age of the AU on a plug-in that must play in only one sandbox? I bought the Pro-C and the Pro-L and Volcano over the holidays in a burst of bourbon-fueled sale-binging. But I only ever go into Auria to finish something off — which is increasingly rare these days. (I'm much more likely to jam in AUM or try out ideas in Modstep, or noodle around in Gadget or Caustic or KRFT.) I haven't touched Volcano in months, and it's a real shame that it must remain within Auria.
That's true, but if you're an Auria user, then this is great. I spend almost all my time in Auria. I don't have have old timer or springverb, or the echo, so I'll probably pick them up.
Every one of them is certainly worth $5. That's a steel.

True, but the benefit is higher sample rate in auria than au permits. So more stuff possible on each channel. And i could bever afford these plugins on mac. But i am struggling myself whether i need microwarmer if i like saturn (which is great but have not even gotten through all the presets) and the stock compressors. 5 bucks is so cheap for what microwarmer is, it's just that all this shit adds up. 8 dollars yesterday, 5-8 a week earlier. Etc. Don't wanna check but i'm sure i'm hitting at least 50 a month,...when i don't get a bigger ticket 30 dollar synth.
Pretty much the definition of no brainers... sadly I already have them all, save the spring verb.
(And I just bought the verb's big brother SpringBox on the desktop this week: it sounds fantastic. Regardless, for five bucks I can't pass up having that same functionality in Auria).
I always feel good supporting PSP: a small team of dedicated sound nerds that produce quality stuff at great prices.
I have them all except for Piano Verb. I use Spring Verb occasionally. But these (as already mentioned) are must haves for Auria users, IMO:
Echo (more practical usage than the more exotic Timeless plug)
Microwarmer ( wonderful saturation/warmth tool, apply in small doses)
Old Timer (when you just need a quick, warm compressor)
Echo and Microwarmer are both regular visitors on almost every single recording I make in Auria. 10 bucks for the pair is more than a steal. It's obligatory

Am tempted by the microwarmer, indeed. The delay doesn't look too exciting - have bought loads of other delays in the past and this seems somewhat 'un-unique'.
