Some great stuff in here everyone! Love @JeffChasteen and @kitejan especially.

    Thank you!

  • I listen to my app Droneo an awful lot. You just set it going and forget about it. It's generative, but only in that it changes the timbre it's playing by emphasizing different harmonics. There are a lot of generative presets.
You can record it, but that's not the point!
    Nevertheless, here are some examples.

@JeffChasteen Convient-il d'employer les mêmes remèdes avec les amants qu'avec les déments?

Imagining having that type of lyrical gift AND being the world's greatest menswear designer!

Just another day here at Chez Goodyear.....

I did listen to your selections, some of which I found intense/a bit scary. I suspect you and that @MonzoPro fellow were separated at birth etc. However, I really liked King Of The Blues. Excellent stuff.

    Thanks!

  • Can anyone give me some ambient music making tips? I've been wanting to make stuff like this for a while now but am struggling a bit. Probably overthinking the process. I know lots of reverbs and delays ... but I'd like more insight into the tonal/progression type aspects? One chord? 2 chords? I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on how they go about making ambient. Thanks. Oh - and loving all the stuff posted here by everyone. Great stuff!

  • Just made an ambient..thanks for the tips you guys!

I've posted it as a separate thread

  • Here is one for you:
"Recorded in one take using iPhone and Aum app, creating loops on the fly with moodscaper, with the drone generated with droneo, also used were; Gliderverb, AUFX. Dub/space/push and Dedalus."

  • Another:

This soundscape was created on the iPad using several apps, including: BorderlandsGranular, FieldScaper, AUFX-Dub,Space,Push, Amazing Noises (Moebius Lab, Dedalus, Reverb) added minuscule particles of grit, grime and assorted spacial artefacts via LPX for final mix.

  • Loving the examples being posted. Here's an exploration with the moog model15 app thru ToneStack.
