Only lived in ATX for a little while (was supposed to settle down, there, but life got in the way). If memory serves, weather and pecans were pretty Gadget-friendly, by this time of year. (After SxSW...)

It beautiful here right now....I am surrounded by pecan trees and if they don't actually fall on the house I will enjoy them all summer....ATX in March, April, October and November is almost as good as Maine in July And the ribs are pretty good (but the oysters don't match up.... )

Had four great years in ATX and would return in a heartbeat. After our youngest leaves the nest, who knows, maybe I'll be back. Meantime, it's DFW, where the 'cue is generally not as good as in central Texas (not that I mind havin to roll my own)- but you can get New England oysters here whenever they are in season.

Somewhat to topic- I have sunvox, but can't figure out how it works. I'm too dumb and impatient. It looks cool, though.
