Currently yes.
What else is the iCA attached to? A computer or nothing or another ipad?
@munibeast. could you send us a screenshot of your settings in the iconfig app on pc/mac ?
Here's my current settings. don't have any issues with this. even with a Pc and my ipad connected simultaneously (although in the screenshot my ipad is currently disconnected)
and my current input matrix settings. this lets me have 5 stereo or 10 mono streams from my ipad to pc.
That's interesting mine is the same 3,3,2,4,1
But I've got a different mixer configuration.
Try that @Munibeast
Nothing else, just one iPad or iPhone
try to mirror my settings. 3,3,2,4,1. genuinely curious if it fixes things for you.
is this after the settings change ?
I'm changing settings to match yours now. Crossing fingers...
Unchanged. Rebooted the iPad too. No joy...
Thanks anyways, @gonekrazy3000 and @Carnbot, I'll try some more things later and report back.
My iConfig Mac version keeps crashing on launch now. Have to check what's up with that.
Edit: Installed a newer version that isn't crashing. And my settings are now exactly like yours, @gonekrazy3000. There must be something else that's wrong.
Ok so it looks like there are sometimes problems still on my end.
I started a session on my second ica4 and all the apps were stuck needing a fix. Reset the ipad but didn't help.
But then I reset my ica4 (by pushing the dial on the front until it was off and on again)
Then it worked after that.
Yea. The switch off and on definitely fixes things on my end too. It's usually shut it off and on before every Audiobus session so it's been pretty painless for me.
So what hardware version do you guys have @Carnbot & @gonekrazy3000? Mine is 1.0.
That actually is a good question. Where is the hardware version listed ?
Should be on the first page iirc, right below the firmware version.
Firmware 1.1.0
Hardware version 1.0
seems to be identical to you
Okay, so that's not it then. I don't know if there's a newer version than 1.0 anyways.
I have a 1.0 too and think it's the only one so far.
Hello! I want to add:
I have also a ica4+ and I also have the "Tab to Fix" message - sadly it is unfixable by following the instructions.
I am using AB3 together with Cubasis and DM1.
ica4+
Firmware 1.1.0
Hardware version 1.0
iPad Air
iOS 10.3.1
What does work but is buggy AF is:
1. Start AB3
2. Launch Cubasis
3. Connect ica4+ to iPad
4. Launch DM1
Oh God. I just realised I was on iOS 10.3. and I just updated to 10.3.1. hope it didn't break things now. Will know in a little while when I get home
No, I was on 10.3 when testing before and updated now without improvements so I wouldn't expect it to change anything.
If I launch AB3 and open my preset with tonestack (just updated with AB3) and vocalive without the ica4+ connected, it starts up. If I then quit AB3, connect the ica4+ and restart AB3 - it seems to work fine.
I had that too but it's inconsistent.
Any updates on this? AB3 not playing nice with my Apogee Quartet... wondering if anyone else is having issues with their audio interfaces.
Thanks :-)
The betas we're testing are a lot more stable. At least on my interfaces. Hopefully it will come out soon alongside the new AUM update
Still get some issues sometimes with my iconnectaudio4 hope the next update fixes it.
My beta still seems to need AB3 started before connecting the ICA4+.
