  • @sinosoidal , any chance DRC might get the AUv3 treatment some day? Would love to have this synth as AU on the iPhone. Thanks for such an amazing synth!

    Love it.

  • I gotta mention Phawuo. Great for gritty, dirty sounds and not much else. But I like it a lot.

I must also mention: I finally snagged Poison 202 after holding out for a long time, and I'm smitten in a way I haven't been by an app for an even longer time. Gonna have some fun with this one, I can tell.

well it cheaper than being hardware synth addicted. not as many drawbacks. Audiobus and IAA makes my digital studio retarded lol I blow the socks of producers anywhere I go when I show them my collection lol

Haha and it all fits on such a tiny device. :D

I use my iPad as one big synth, so use whatever app is appropriate at the time. Often use many synth apps layered together in AUM or now AB3.

Just to add, wish they had set iOS up from the get go to be able to just choose sounds from a central library and just load whatever sound generating app is needed. It's already possible in PC land. iOS would have been a great platform for this set up.

And having WiFi means you could have been able to get a patch from thin air :D

    I know
    Another humour attempt fails :D

Ok another go...If the central library were called miarz when someone syas, "Hey, where did you get that sound from ?" You can gleefully say "I pulled it from miarz"

I know what you are getting at though, and I agree it would be really nice to have, it would put the focus back onto listening to the sound as you browse, rather than thinking about what is making the sound...

And to take it a step further, the Library should be clever so that it can either serve you up a sample, or a patch for an AU/IAA or even for a hardware synth if you have the right one...if you don't have the relevent instrument you get the sample.so you can still use it but with less tweakability.

That's in the queue. Unfortunately I need to split my development time across several apps in small iterations. It is not forgotten.
