The feature is there again, let´s send out some 5-stars

I've been lazy but can it also export a 'selection' from the 'source'?

    Yes, indeed! :)

A bit off topic perhaps but sometimes I like to mix a fizzy drink and scroll through my IAA sources in BM3 for no apparent reason. It just kind of relaxes me. Yah scrolling right through all the way to the bottom, very relaxing.

Just the one. No booze. Crystal light orange flavor in San Pellegrino... very tastey...

But yah know... not as tastey as scrolling down to the very bottom of the list of IAA sources. Not only do I find that relaxing, but tastey... oh so tastey. I recommend it.

Yeah, I had a cup of hot chocolate about 45 minutes ago, was kinda feeling drowsy and relaxed, but now I’m wide awake!
    I guess because I always use AUv3's, I missed a thing or a THING.

    Cheers! 👍🏼

I’m just over here trying to pretend that I’m too cool to have ever done such a thing. But it’s a lie, I tell you.

Somehow I had never thought of this shortcut... Duh!

  • The feature doesn't seem to be back for me. I am not getting an Export command in the popup at the lower left after Beat Time finishes preparing the video. Is anyone seeing Export with the latest version?

It was also missing for me earlier today.
    I deleted the app.
    Reset my device.
    Re-downloaded Beat Time.
    Export option was back!
    Hope this works for you.

I went through this cycle also, still no export, will keep plugging away then never update it again!

  • @JeffChasteen. Thanks for getting back to me. By "reset the device" do you mean power it down. I followed your steps and Export is only available to me for the three YT clips in the Demo Tracks folder. If I go to the YT tab, and click on Beat Time, the popup menu doesn't have Export.

I am running iOS 11.4.1 in case that makes a different.

In the Settings panel, it says the version is 3.2.1 (345).

Is that the same build as you are using?

    Thanks!

Yes, those are the steps I took to regain the Export function.

I am using version 3.2.1 on iOS 10.3

Wasn’t working for me, until I deleted and reinstalled the app. Works for me now, though I’m on 11.2.

So I noticed an update in the App Store. Is it safe to install?

Edit: ya know, without losing the good stuff

  • I’m on 11.4 and with the new 3.2.1 update the feature is working perfectly for me in my iPhone 6S, iPad Pro 9.7 and iPad Air 2.

  • This is so weird. I wonder what is different on the computers where it is working and those where it isn't.

I just want to make sure that this is clear. The Export item appears when I view the files that are in the Demo tab. But it does't appear when viewing a video (after it has been prepared for Beat Time) when on the YT tab.

On this iPad, I didn't have Beat Time before the 3.2.1 (345) build.

For people that do have the Export command. Does 345 show up as the build number?

Is there any chance that the country where one is could make a difference?

    (345) ... on 11.4.

Last night I deleted and reinstall the app, the only reason I did this is because I noticed how large it was getting (mb). Almost 500mb, and that was after deleting all my saved files, which were only a few small ones (2x 18sec and a full average length track). Even after using the “Clear Cache” feature it was still in the high 400's.

Reinstall, now back down to 39.3mb, and that’s because I dl,d and deleted a file to test the accumulation.

Must contact Guy about this, ... soon..

(Similar thing happens with bs-16i, never heard back from that dev on that particular subject.)

BT is a great app none the less.

    Life is good!

    King

    —————

Btw: the original (BT) app size is less than 20MB.

  • @espiegel123 For your test cases:
I’m on 345, latest iOS and uk based, and its back to working for me straight after the (345) update.
