    Looks like I'll have some unanswered questions. Emailed the dev and got the 'address not found' reply. So the weirdness continues. :)

    That's a general link quirk. If activated it defaults to 120. I've started putting the bom in my gadget project titles so i can correct it when i open it and it's not at the right speed

    I have been using lumafusion to put together clips that I use in Takete and have been pretty happy with both apps. I use Takete basically like launchpad only with audio and video clips. I haven't found much use for its other features but that may be simply from lack of understanding exactly how they all function. Be warned though, Takete in its current state is prone to random crashes which makes it unusable for any kind of live performances and makes it definitely not worth its price tag.

    Hi everybody, this is Achilleas here, the developer of LoAdKeR. I came across this thread and would like to offer some -hopefully!- useful information based on the experiences that people have had so far:

    • Sample import for Fx1 and Fx2 should work now with the current version (1.5.1). I am currently working on improving the sequencing logic so that there is more variety to the events.
    • You can set the tempo either by the slider or the stepper. The slider moves between 40 and 240 BPM, however you can go higher -and lower- with the stepper. The new tempo is displayed in the right label. Once you are happy with the number, you tap it and the tempo is set. I found that this way made my life slightly easier when working with Link, where the session tempo can be set by any of the participants and I needed a way to keep track of my local status.
    • @jooga1972 you were right about the CPU usage, I think that I found the reason and will include a fix in the next (1.5.2) update. Thanks for pointing out!

    I do. It's really a marvel. It's getting me back into movie-making, animation...which is no small thing after a 17 year hiatus.

    I've always lusted after it, but it's a bit pricey for me.

    That's the next hurdle. Made a couple little sketches but 17 years of inertia has kept me from uploading (so far).

    We men still on the fence will appreciate your example(s) etc.

    @tja That is correct, there is no MIDI whatsoever in the app. All the audio is produced by the app, which can be synchronised via Ableton Link.

    @gusgranite - Hi, for the time being I do not have any such plans, so it is very likely that the number of tracks will remain four, however I have added a looper for each instrument, so you can have one instrument/track playing + one loop

    @RustiK thanks for your kind words! If you are to referring to sample import, you should be able to do that while the project is playing. is that what you mean?

    LoadKer just got updated. I like this app for subtle automation and tweaks. Not sure I have it working fully though. If I import from AudioShare the file doesn’t seem to save in LoadKer. It works if I drop the AudioShare sample into the LoadKer files directory though. However, once I have the sample in LoadKer I cannot seem to get it playing in the app. I go to the sample icon and select the new sample but it still keeps playing the original kick drum?

    @AxArt I could do with some help here, please. This is a creative app and I know I’m close :smile:

    Ps the quickest way to get sounds in( I think) is to press the hamburger then press browse

    i picked this up today while on sale. unfortunately it’s not very stable on my system (9th gen iPad running 15.3.1).

    When I use Ableton Link and run it though an AUM IAA channel, the parameters vanish from the app interface, rendering it unusable.

    I am liking the techno I get but am having trouble with free and pattern and well I guess I don't quite 'get' the point of alot of it. I love IDM and house though so I'll keep playing, I just cant make patterns for now hah.

    I’m gladly and happily confused by this app.
    I have no idea of what IDM is 🤦🏻. What I find rather intriguing is that all instruments seem to be bound to a single rhythm… kick on beat, Hihat off beat. You can then drift off randomly, but there’s no traditional sequencer, Euclidean or other forms of having a different rhythmic base. Is that what idm is based upon?.
    I’m not complaining, just curious. I’m actually loving it. Very creative, chaotic and it sounds great. Good source for experimentation.

    I makes this for interest a long time ago and forgot about it. Saw it was on sale but looked like potential learning curve.

    Just grabbed it while still on sale. Figured out the majority of its functionality in less than half an hour with no video tutorials and just referring to the in-app help labels.

    Love it 😍 so fun 🤩 and mostly intuitive GUI

    Going to be really fun with experimenting

    Did you find a way to turn on the loader?
    Been messing around with Loadker for hours, but still haven't figured out how to make it work
