Neo-Soul Keys Studio for iPad...

Just wanted to let you guys know that the first round of testing for Neo-Soul Keys Studio has been done. Here is what we've found out:

  • The same CPU level as the oldver version is about the same, which is remarkable with all of the effects. @Buffer of 256, the CPU remains about 20% and 30% on an iPad Mini 2. With the 256 sample buffer size I can load all samples and FX (including the convolution reverb) and play without dropouts. With 128 samples buffer size I can still use a few Mech FX and effects without getting too much drop outs, but I’d recommend to use at least 256 on those older devices.

  • Filesize is down to 3.1 GB using our own proprietary lossless compression. We do not have every EP from the desktop, but we kept the meat and potatos. All of the extra FM tines and others are not there, but essentially it is about 90% the same core EPs.

We expect to have something soon and will be amazing. For you iPad Pro users, it'll be absolutely amazing....

    It's so much the same as the desktop that we are able to use the same exact presets. I can only image how well it performs with the new iPad that came out.

    Nice, i have waited this since i first heard about it. Really good EP app is something that i think is missing on ios. The original neosoulkeys seems nice, but also a bit outdated(and i decided to wait for this instead of buying the old version, i only used the free stuff on it), and this new app seems to take things to whole another level.

    Im also up for beta if there are some open spots :)

    Just watch the video of the desktop. It's the exact SAME. That's the thing....with my new platform, whatever I do on the desktop, can be done on iOS.

    @GospelMusicians - I'm watching videos for Neo Soul Keys Studio on YouTube now. Will you have to purchase each EP model separately via IAP as in the current app, or will you get the whole shebang when you purchase the app?

    It'll be a separate app from the original and you get the whole thing for one price along with presets.
