Been waiting on this one, thanks for the good news.

  • Do please report back about how easy it really is etc.

OK first job is to check the tutorial vids - looks and sounds very comprehensive but also looks extremely minimalist. Oh and portrait view - aah.

  • This is very strange.
32bit app, while all other apps from them get 64bit treatment at the same time.
I also thought that it was over that apps were in Portrait only mode. Seriously limiting.

  • Bought. Thanks for updating the catalog Pulse Code. Plus, groove makers with (hopefully seamless) loop export to audioshare? Ok!

  • It lost me at portrait mode oh well

I did purchase it, but why o why be stuck in the '80 iOS vise.

32 bit audio engine isn't the same thing as a 32 bit app, which I guess leaves portrait mode as an objection for some.

    Right you are. Thanks.
I just gazed quickly over specs before purchasing speedily in app greed (it's like frenzy out there now). I actually thought it was a mistake and was kind of joking about that mistake while they are upgrading their whole program in 64. No mistake.

  • ... and for added fun load this thing with your own samples :)

  • This is definitely something worth checking into to!
Glad all the other apps got updated as well...

The UI iof Pulse feels super slick once I get used to all the swiped from different directions.

Automating start/end of samples is a nice feature but it would be even cooler to 'scrub' the value to the right place ;)

Everything in the app seems to be possible to automate which is a really nice touch.

You're right about the frenzy these days. Synthscaper this morning. And 10 sec. after seeing @Trueyorky's post on this one, I was in. And there's still Yonac's next synth, and BM3. But after those two, I'll stop, I swear...

  • so far it looks pretty uninspiring for my musical adventures...
Cant wait for BM3 - nothing really excites me more I have to say.

Hmm sure, Beebstreet Zeeon, Audiokit SynthOne (free I hear).

I feel you or at least the desperation, this is never ending spiral.
I'm glad that I'm not participating in the Modular game (at the moment). Little bit more expensive sport.
    But I love Synths!

Yes, that was my reaction, too. Boring interface, and generic sounds. Does this have midi out?

  • Pulse is what Figure could have become... Especially love the sample-import options and loop-bouncing :)
I'll be spending more time with it for sure!

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • Worth mentioning RhythmStudio got the update it needed. Working perfectly on the iPhone 5 again!

I think I need to look into this more.

  • Cool chopping and sample editing in here

Is there a limit to how much can be sequenced i.e. Does it just do long loops like Groovebox or can it do actual full length songs??

Not found any limits yet just lots of flexibility. Swing, adjustable steps per beat, copy / edit sections etc. I would suggest watching the videos which show some of the apps capabilities.

  • Boom808 and 909 saved trom the dodo list. 64 bit updates are live. Yay!

  • What's the number of instruments situation and what are the sounds like?

With the words "I love synths" and "Modular" stated so closely in the same post, I would say you're at risk here my friend...friends on this very forum helped me turn those very words into this set up:

In the beginning, there was just a lil' ol' iPad one...
