Note that even though Tokyo (my favorite drum synth) claims in Gadget to be C2, C#2, D2, D#2, it really starts at C1 in BeatMaker 3.
Set up a set of 16 pads with all the mappings and then save the bank for instant recall. Sweet!
Pics?
Nah. Use your own brain, not mine. Do what the video shows for 16 pads. Then save the bank. You'll figure it out, or someone more patient than I am right now will come to your rescue.
Haha. It sometimes works.
But are there even 16 gadgets in Gadget?
Yes. And you can use them more than once too.
I just set up 16 pads becaus that's how many are on a page and I'd rather do things once, even though I may never use all 16. They do no harm if not used.
Could something like this be done even faster with AB3? I have AB2 and I'm looking for a sea reason to get ab3. Can you set up midi out presets with it?
Sure. It can be done. Quicker? I'm not sure. Until Gadget is updated to be AB3 Midi capable, you would need to use MidiFlow Adapter to handle the in and out. AB3 is brilliant for this kind of thing, but at this point there's little advantage of AB3 over AB2 until Gadget gets onboard.
I managed to do it with your help. Thanks a lot.
Multiple Gadget thing very neat ...
