"Cornhole Lotta Love" lol
Another good preset name.
I was shoved to the floor by Gibby at Liberty Lunch. It was an accident, as I think he was in a hurry to get to the bathroom on a smack run.
He apologized, but I didn't care. I was honored to be body slammed by THE Butthole Surfer himself!
Challenge accepted. And....I actually live in Georgia....home field advantage like hogs n' slop. Gonna head up to them mountains with KASP-AR and pull my inspiration from the squirrels and sticks (and avoid eye contact on all levels)
Excellent!
I know exactly what you mean.
I was once yelled at by John Cale and felt honored. The man has yelled at so many people I respect and admire. Of course, I also respect and admire Mr Cale.
Fellow Georgia resident here.
There are just so many wonderful possibilities for preset names:
-Them Panties, Take 'Em Off
-Have You Ever Had Your Balls Cut Off, You Fucking Ape?
-How About You Take That Chubby Boy With You Today?
-Don't Hit 'Em With Your Head
-Don't Ever Do Nothing Like This Again
-Mister, I Love The Way You Wear That Hat
-It Ain't Nothing But The Biggest Fuckin' River In The State
-There's No End To It
-We Might Have To Wait A Minute For The Church To Get Out The Way
-I Was On A Jury Once
So many!
I'm not proud of what I've done....but here are my Deliverance inspired presets

Haven't bought thIs yet, but I'm tempted to so that I can hear these presets
How do you like this one compared to LayR?
Haha....I'd probably, maybe, definitely hold off on purchasing if based on that!
This app shares a lot of similarities with LayR for sure, but they do a lot of things differently. I haven't spent a whole lot of time with KASPAR but it seems there is a lot to like about it so far; particularly the effects department and the arpeggiator. Going to dig deeper soon and see what comes out!
Glad to hear that, I was kinda on the fence with it , Im on an Air 2 as well and heard people were having performance issues with it, I might check it out now.
Please drop me a note when you do! I'm holding off for now I think, but I'm definitely intrigued.
LayR is incredible, but I don't have a clue what kind of sorcery you're using to coax the kinds of sounds you get out of it in the presets.
Added one of your preset sounds to a short plotagraph on instagram yesterday, but went through all your new cinematic presets to check the final versions out. Incredible. I've said it before and I'll say it again, LayR is an impressive app for sure, but for just your's and RedSky's presets, without even bothering to try and craft my own sounds at all.. it's worth the price of the app for those alone.
@skiphunt said, "I was shoved to the floor by Gibby at Liberty Lunch."
Are you in Austin?
I definitely will!
RE: LayR....no sorcery, or at least minimal amounts. Mainly just a lot of late nights and headphones that don't suck. I think a lot of it is holding the app to its name and really pushing the amount of layers involved. Same holds true for this KASPAR app. For instance, in LayR, if you look at my Arp preset called "further inside"....there are 27 oscillators involved! 13 of which are dedicated just to the bassline synth. Of course, you can come away with some intriguing stuff with just one or two oscillators. And 2 detuned saw waves DO sound great. But 24 detuned saw waves sound astonishing, and sometimes terrifying. So I think a lot of it has to do with that; building up multi-layer sounds. It is after all a fairly simplistic subtractive synthesizer. But its weapon I think is the ability to combine nearly hundreds of subtractive synthesizers spread across your keyboard. That and its arpeggiator holds some magic as well. KASPAR has a lot of those same tricks, so I am anxious to see what it can do.
Your Instagram video is awesome. Flattered you chose that music to pair with it, and that you're enjoying the presets!
loving this on ipad, are there plans to have it universal on iphone soon?
Yes, iPhone!
Does Yonac ever show up here and comment?
Would love to hear what you could do with this app, in the cinematic style you did with Layr. I don't have Layr but tried a few of your presets on a mates iPad, and they really bring the app to life. Be interesting to see if this app could do the same in your hands.
Hey how does kaspar compare to isem?

OMG!!! LayR! Between that and KASPAR I don’t have to leave the house again.... ever.
