So should we now expect a whole buncha app updates and fixes that were waiting for IOS7 before they released themselves? Like maybe Audiobus, the new version with the secret powers? @boone51: you need to start working on a senseless title for a post when the revamped Bus comes out. Maybe you can verbally abuse and degrade a little puppy this time instead of a cat.
This is so much fun ! I already wonder if I ever go back to my "studio-mac" standing in the room next to me .. I do so much on the ipad and it is worth following the whole thing and learn new ways to produce music everyday !
@NoiseHorse, the phrase "who let the cat out of the bag" is a phrase that references someone telling a secret. So I rephrased it a little. ;-) it's not completely nonsensical.
My use of "senseless" was meant to sound like a compliment to your keen wit and off the wall humor. I'm still laughing about that Post title! But there's "no" pressure on you to outdo this one with a great post-title for the big Audiobus update. And seriously, I am hoping for something at least slightly insulting to a puppy or a baby smurf or something along those obtuse lines. /:-)

That's a pretty short list so far!
Indeed.
I'm using AB as I did with ios6.
So far every app I've tried 'seems' ok.
Some apps that have not been updated,do not show the AB panel (pearl).others do (drumjam).
But I'm able to record into cubasis as I did in ios6.
Edit...Ipad2... Updated to ios 7
Hey guys, sorry still a little confused? Does this mean we no longer need Audiobus because of "interapp audio" which is basically Audiobus expanded in ios 7?
We will always - choke -
Need Audiobus - sniffle -
:.-(
Seriously though, if Audiobus uses the improvements of inter-app to work even better, I can't imagine I'll ever want to give it up. Already, my favorite AB app Loopy, has a killer new feature, a visual clock counter in the AB tab!
Also I don't think inter-app has any of the things Sebastian mentioned recently:
" Keep your eyes peeled for these in our next update: Audiobus connection presets, multi-channel input device support, and a third thing that we’ll tell you about later on."
Back on topic, since no one else has summarized, it sounds like IAA will have:
Generator apps - ? Just saw the term in Looptastic Looptical manual. No clue
Instrument apps - also in Looptastic Looptical manual. Assume this means you can play it like an instrument in your DAW. Use your DAWs keyboard and get an easy auto MIDI connection and audio stream the played notes from the instrument app back to DAW ???
Effect apps- also in Looptastic Looptical manual. For... FX?
Host apps- assuming this exists because something has to record the above apps.
Sorry, maybe this is poor form, but yes, I'm throwing around guesses that are probably wildly inaccurate in the hopes that it will bring out those who know better to correct me. ;-)
As what I understand through all the information I get, the different between IAA and Audiobus will be Audiobus will allow to record few inputs in one time, but IAA is a single channel. Correct me if I am wrong.
Besides, any news from bs-16i to update to iOS 7 compatible?
If it is Looptastic, it is no longer being developed and will receive no further updates
Oops, right, Looptical it is.
