Zeeon is making progress well ;)
Having lots of fun with it.

    Damn you ;)
I think it could be the first iOS app which really is on level with some of the higher quality desktop stuff. Could be the Diva of iOS
(I still do hope it will not another iOS exclusive).
But Beepstreet should learn some better support and don't promising too much which never happens which isn't a good way to catch customers.

    It's the hot shit. <3

Is it only AUv3 or does the stand-alone include chord-memory and sequencer like Sunrizer?
    What about modulation automation?

Im not supposed to talk about this so I just say sound is superb and it's modulation nirvana.
The next milestone from beepstreet. <3

But you know.....every synth can do that these days.
But i hope it will have .tun file import.......
The sound demos from Beepstreet sounds really good i must say.
I do hope it will have more than 8 modulation slots and modulations slots are targets also.

Modulating the matrix does nice things. and there's plenty of targets. <3
Friends of more exotic things cough will have to wait a little, not everything will be in version 1

And most likely the oscillators can be used as modulation-source, hello FM ;)
The little + in the layer selector could point at ring-modulation between layer 1 & 2...
(I was offered to take part in the beta but another app kept me too busy)

I will have your twins for my very own! (Manical laughter)

I´m sure you can. You see that in the pictures already....i mean OSC as modulation source.
What i miss in many iOS synth apps is that there are mostly no dedicated knobs for velocity setting for things like filter or amplitude envelopes which you would waste modulation slots for otherwise.
Or in general i miss some more clever and easy performance modulations like the Pro-One (and of course U-he Repro-1 has). You can do so much and so fast things without having to use a modulation matrix. Indeed i think the Pro-One has the most clever modulation setting of any synth :)
But however, i´m pretty sure that beside Model 15 maybe Zeeon will be the king on iOS for audio rate modulations of every kind. But i think the filters in Zeeon will be better and you have more choices.
Dagger f.e. sound really great and has a distinct character. Not sure how that will sound in Zeeon since Dagger filters should be there too.
I read that Zeeon will get 4X oversampling in general while Dagger has 2X for the engine but 8X for filters. Also a mono synth is normally much better if you really want just a mono voice while i would expect some things have to be stripped down for a polyphonic synth with audio rate modulations.
While there are many synths which can do this good for desktop i really think there is still nothing beside Model 15 for iOS.....so Zeeon will be a winner for sure.

  • -Sidechain sound in Cubasis via Pumphouse (thanks @Chris_Randall and others at Audio Damage!!).
-iOS 11 fixes audio app-related bullcrap with my 2017 iPad Pro.
    -Nanostudio 2 (c'mon Blip!)
-A nice used car (a vehicle that's not super large like a lot of American vehicles, something fuel efficient, and isn't a complete piece of junk).
-A possible new piano teaching position that pays good cash so I can finally get a new Windows PC and EW Composer's Cloud (a pricey subscription that's actually worth it and is only ONE extra subscription, not tough to keep track of at all).

Looking forward to what's in store for the future for sure.

Oh, and an Auria Pro update adding stereo to mono track process, ability to excise subgroup faders not in use from the mixer and a timeline note to label a songs verse, chorus, bridge, etc...

Not clever enough to appreciate all the cleverer stuff, but a timeline note to label a songs verse, chorus, bridge, etc... would be better than dandy...

@JohnnyGoodyear JG you are too humble my friend, lol.
I get agita over how Auria Pro has these desktop DAW quality features but simply turning a stereo track into a mono track is a convoluted exercise.

The subgroups thing is just my OCD kicking in...if my session is not using subgroup channels or is only using one or two I want that represented on my mixer...not just 8 sub channels always there whether used or not.

  • Great Expectations

Being able to access the apps /Documents/(ie. iTunes File Sharing Folder) from the Files.app would be super!

I'd prefer it if the files app would show up like an USB drive (and forget about stupid iTunes)
Connect stick to loading cable, drop files
    Boom

:D Would be way to easy :D

Yeah, or better yet, skip all cables and let the Files.app act as an SMB-Server/Client so you could easily browse the content from any desktop and manage the files.

iFiles 2 does this perfectly. When enabled it just pops up in Finder/WindowsExplorer and you can treat it as any other network attached device... (This also allows easy transfer of files between iOS devices).

iOS11 is still a few months away so anything could happen :D

Has anyone figured out what the macOS Server tab is for in Files.app?

Escalation in negative rhetoric between USA and North Korea,

elections in Germany that will hopefully stabilise the situation on the continent,

UK wasting billions of tax money to make the people worse off.

That's just the so called developed world that I belong to.

Probably ad to it some big power backed government change here and there. Nothing new.

The slavery continues. I've recently learned about bonded employment where an employee owns the company so much they only manage to pay interest!

    Loopy Pro and Nanostudio 2?

    More and more AU ports?

    • ADelay2 updated as an AU
    • Frekvens working properly as AU
    • Updated algorithms for apesoft products (idensity and sparkle but also their cousin Dedalus) improving their frustating lack of harmonics
    • Turnado and Samplr free of any issues in AB3

I mean... turning that investment useful

New things... kind of finalizer (MD3...), a brickwall limiter, a convolution FX (not reverb but just between sounds) and (ha ha) a feedback supressor.

  • I forgot...
    AUFX as AUv3

  • Stop wishing my life away.

This is not dagger. It's completely different.
Everything moves a little, it breathes <3

    Since you've already started 'leaking'...

    • What hides under Panel 2?
    • Are both layers (1 & 2) the same and what does the + button do?
    • What is hiding under the Tools button?

No need for in-depth info just more screen dumps ;)

  • I'd like to see lots more midi filters and the beginning of full screen AUs with midi out support so we won't need IAA so much.

  • Eventually, @GospelMusicians neo-soul keys studio will release. Hopefully before Christmas?
Stable iOS 11(maybe) with more files integration, and beatmaker 3 will only get better with time.
Biggest wish: more AU instruments. Electric guitar vst would be awesome. More AU effects.
Embertone collaborating with Joshua Bell to make the ultimate violin AU. It might be coming to ios.

  • I want a new powerful octuple core Mac mini this fall...
Or else I'm coming for you Tim!

Any idea when Zeeon is due to be released?

Looking forward to it. It seems like it ticks a lot of boxes for things I'm looking for in an AU synth.

Beepstreet have also indicated that Sunrizer is likely to go AU in the future. That would be nice.
