It's time to grab those you still haven't bought!

Umm, I don't really need it but I'm tempted by the piano....
The piano is my favorite!
Have them all...
I bought the piano. Vintage blues guitar has good guitars playable on midi keyboard or only loops?
Yes, acoustic grand. I remember it was 9.99 euro, so i presume it is 30% less.
I do like their piano...
The piano is nice. Harpsichords are good too.
Anyone know if there is a good upright bass instrument in any of the packs? I know about the one in the urban factory pack but that one sounds a bit too much like a stylized version of an upright.
Given the stunning sampler included I have no need for any packs at all but it is nice to see them on sale just the same .
Yeah, it's all about the time savings.
The acoustic piano is worth the price of admission alone. Its "soft 1" preset is the best soft piano on iOS imo. The choir is excellent and a bargain at the price. The slightly different attacks of the singers make that Iap sound very realistic. The string ensembles violin smooth sustain sounds provides a realistic sordino sound - better than my VST collections.

How do the strings compare to say isymphonic
I bought acoustic piano and I think it may be a good piano inside a multi-instrument arrangement. As a solo piano, IMHO, Ravenscroft 275 ranks a higher quality level.
Oh, man. I really thought I was off the hook for Beathawk.
So let me ask those who use BH2: How does it fit in with your workflow? I know @JohnnyGoodyear rates it highly as a sketchpad. Is it easy to export stems and/or midi for further use in Cubasis? I am slowly understanding BM3; is Beathawk redundant with BM3?
The big question is not really the money, since BH2 seems quite reasonable. But the app is HUGE, right?
I never got along with Beathawk standalone, but I'm loving it as an AU hosted in BM3. Stocking up on the sample packs during the sale for that reason.
Same here. They definitely have some of the better sound packs on iOS. Good stuff!
One of the strengths for Beathawk is its high quality and ever-expanding sound library, based on the rich resources of UVI's massive sample stockpile, built up from years as a leading player in desktop world. In that sense, it will probably always have the edge over BM3 and others. That's one great reason to take advantage of the current expansion pack sale.
It can be used as an AU within BM3, however, I haven't personally tested that yet.
Hosting BH in BM3 works great, but last night my iPad Air 2 was getting resource constrained with the following AUs loaded:
It was crackling pretty bad at this point and I had to create duplicate projects with a subset of the tracks to export the stems for import into Auria. That said, still a big fan of the BH2/BM3 combo
Piano is awesome! My fav!
Just wish Cubasis remember what preset I left BH on and all would be perfect!
Do you recommend Tutti Orchestra? I have isymphonic already, base pack.
Yes, it's huge. Yes, there is significant overlap with BM3. Apart from the sound packs, which are top notch, it doesn't bring a lot more to the table except that you can use multiple instances as AUv3 in BM3 and other hosts. I like that it has midi out too.
Where I really use the it is on my phone. It's my favorite midi sequencer there, and totally worth the space.
But ... sound packs are awesome. I use the piano, mellotron, and acoustic drums all the time.
Any idea about how much room the Acoustic Piano is?
Thanks.
According to the store, the "Acoustic Grand" is 337mb
Oh, thanks. It's less than I thought, regarding as good it sounds.
Got the Acoustic Drums pack but I'm having problems with the samples tunings. For instance the hard kick sounds one way in the browser and when loaded to a pad sounds at another pitch. The pitch controls are at zero, and I've checked all settings.
I can go in and fix the pitches of the particular drum samples (anywhere from 3 to 12 semi-tones) to get them to sound lije the browser samples do but it's a pain in the ass and seems counter intuitive. Anyone else ran into this?
Yes it happens to me also and I'm stumped why.
Me too. I mentioned it a couple months ago when I bought the pack during the last sale and heard only crickets chirping, so I chalked it up to something I was doing wrong. I mostly just use the full kit now rather than individual samples so I kinda forgot about it.
To answer some questions posted here:
The string pack and tutti itch are worth getting, especially at the sale price, but if you have iSymphonic, the quality of those string samples are more realistic. The Beathawk IAP does have string runs, which iSymphonic does not have.
The mellow acoustic piano is amazing, especially at the current price and memory footprint. I don't have Ravenscroft, and I'm sure it sounds great as well.
3.The World instrument packs are well done, probably the best on iOS.
Thanks!
I already had Choir and Piano both are ultra amazing!
But Strings and tutti I waited cause I already had isymphonic. Wow gotta decide.
