2000 presets overall the synths does not leave a lot of presets for each. 52.63 preset each if spread evenly amongst the 38 , am I getting this right?
Still what I have tried was very good.
Sounds a lot, but that's only 70 per synth. I guess it's all down to how tweakable the samples are.
I think it sounds great, and making your own presets is really quick and easy. Just spent ten minutes with it here at work and created three custom presets already. For a freebie, I think it's very cool!
I'm about four or five instruments into to demoing the desktop version which is more or less the same, so here is my demo for the V80 (CS80) if you want to hear the others I've done so far just search my channel for Syntronik, I did a walk through of the Free version too

Yeah I like much of the freebies. Wonder what the rest are like?
I find so many preset synths have a large range of sounds that I just wouldn't use.
On a positive note, a few of the presets, I've found quite a range of tweak able sounds from.....but just shy of £40 and another non AU app hmmmm. I'm already recording any sounds I make with Gadget into BM3. Could this be another exception to my AU only rule?
Does the app get much bigger when buying the extra sounds?
My God Doug, not watched it all but damn, it sounds awesome to my ears incredible depth,
It is sample based so yes more samples will mean more space. A fair amount.
Yeah just wondered as some apps have some of the iap content already loaded, but yeah, it's likely there will be lots more to download.
If anyone buys the whole pack, can they let us know the size of the app?
At least as large as the Andromeda.......galaxy
hmmm.... not bad, price wise Id say $40 for all the synths sound good, especially considering I just bought the Korg Imono/Poly today and it was $20 and on sale. From the very first not I was kinda like meh, then started tweaking some parameters and then heading over to the effects tab, and theres a nice amount of fx to play with, and it SAVES user patches???? Actually Id have to go from a "not bad", to a hell yes, and for free? Knowing myself Ill probably get the full IAP for $40, but Im not in a rush. Id like to know if the IAP's actually take up a lot of disk space.
Yeah the Andromeda was a little too big to fit in my iPad. The cards it used to save sounds was nearly as big as an iPod! Lol
Just got the Galaxy and it has 86 presets. Wow the arp is superb also!
This is ipad only, right?
Definitely a must-have for me. When I have time, I like digging deep into a synth and seeing what I can do with it. However, if I’m in a production time crunch, there’s nothing like having high-quality presets in a rompler you can quickly dial up to get the right sound. Kinda sucks there’s no AU, but that’s okay.
It seems like space is going to be a issue for someone with low storage space. Each preset that comes for free takes up an average of 10-20 MB (I haven't checked them all though, just poking around a bit), but some are quite large, such as the 16 osc J8 preset (around 90MB). I saved a tweaked version of that preset and it ate up about the same amount of space as the original.
The free version comes with about 25 presets I believe and is already just over 1 GB. Now consider what adding another 1200 or 2000 presets is going to consume
I have just purchased the one synth, Galaxy, and with the app , that and free presets ,I am at 1.27 gb altogether. Will have to hold at that and maybe one or two more until I purchase a larger iPad this winter.
And, likely a Black Friday sale in just two months.
AU support is coming to All IK Multimedia Apps soon.
Once all packs uploaded, the app weighs 4,82 gb.
When I have the space the full shot might be tempting. For now the Andromeda Alexis synth is full of great joy.
Glad to hear it’s on the roadmap. Though I’ll wait until it’s implemented before jumping in
Yes, it is a wicked beast already your going to love the AU I am sure. I will be using it in Cubasis where I can use multiple instances with out AU as long as I record in realtime which happens to be my preferred method anyway.
The sounds are gorgeous!!!!
Wow in AUM when I disabled all built in effect on the Juno my DSP usage went from 49% to 2% seriously! But I'm on an Air1 so I inserted FAC Chorus and EOS2 delay and wow!!!! Try it!
Wow with FAC and EOS2 DSP same patch went to 12% amazing!! Huge sound!!!!
Stack four together and see how fat and lush it will get. Doing just that on Andromeda was mind boggling!
Have you tried the slicer effect? Pretty awesome! Thanks for allowing try before buying!
If I understand it correctly, the samples are just the oscillators. If that's true, these are very much synthesizers. Many, many software (and hardware synthesizers as well) use this method to allow very unique sound palates, textures and timbres, while maintaining the standard analog-style subtractive synthesis. It just really depends on how it has been implemented within this package. And, unfortunately, since I use an iPhone exclusively and there is currently no iPhone support, I am unable to find out without reading about the experiences of those on the forum that have purchased it. :-(
Unfortunately.......... I wish it was universal....
