  • @ikmultimedia should release the effects as a separate AU, I'd buy that!

Wondered if it's IOS 11 ready?

So has anyone discovered how to select MIDI channel yet? And how about sync options for the arp and lfo? @ikmultimedia ?

There is currently no MIDI channel changing available.

On the ARP page you'll see the BPM there which will sync with the arpeggiator and LFO (when BPM Sync is enabled). If you are connected via Inter-App Audio to say Cubasis/Auria, the BPM you set in the DAW will sync to Syntronik controlling the arp, LFO, effects, etc.

Yes we tested our apps with iOS 11, including Syntronik for iPad

    iPhone support? Please!

This has certainly been relayed :)

The FX! If they could manage to make them available in the AB fx slot people would go nuts over it!

This has also been relayed (for the desktop version as well)

Any idea why it would play the first note coming out of Fugue Machine and then stop?

I'm not sure. I would suggest working with our support team at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/ios-apps/ so they can provide one-on-one troubleshooting and assistance.

That's the one I purchased and it sounds awesome. I am sure an original Andromeda would sound amazingly better than this but damn it sounds sweet, no two ways about it.

I will let Erik know... He'll probably be torn since he's proud of his work on both the hardware and these versions :)

MIDI channels first! come on! Or AU first!

  • So... ok, I’m a presets guy. I play in Lots of cover bands.

¿Some of those presets are of famous songs?
Like the exact sound without tweaking anything or just the bare minimum.

Anyone who’s bought the full app? That’s the value for me.

Exact, maybe not, but many of them just need the odd tweak to get plenty of late seventies and Eighties action going. Hard to judge totally, because I’m only probably a quarter through the presets so far!

  • I delayed buying the PC version because I missed the pre release offer and also don't want to use up 50Gb of HDD space on synths but if what I read here is true (the IOS version is only 4.82Gb) then I'm in B)

I wonder how audible the drop from 50GB to under 5GB is?

I don’t think the iPad version has all the content of the pc version. The pc version shows 2000+ presets, while the iPad version says 1200.

  • Wondered the same myself. Does anyone have both or can the IKM man chip in with some info?

  • The different synths u see one skin idea is perfect.Youre missing out on some detail but you don’t have to relearn an interface every time you change synths. It’s gonna take me long enough to go through all the presets. I can see why they did and I think if it was the right choice

  • The more I spend time with this app, the more I love it. The best set of preset sounds in any app I’ve bought and some just come to life by changing the filter.

@ikmultimedia love that you brought the app to iOS. However, when I load it into BeatMaker 3 to sample some sounds, the volume is super hot and loud. Any idea why this is happening?

  • Loving the sounds on this and really not happy about the lack of midi channel selection. Opened it in AUM thinking I could filter out the unwanted midi channels but no joy there. Sort it out IK please.

  • Can't make my midi controller go past C2 and I can't transpose either anyone know?

  • @ikmultimedia

Can you enter precise values on the various parameters somehow or is this something that the team is working on? I'd like to think that I'm fairly decent with knobs and sliders on a glass surface, but not this time:-) At least get the more important parameters some refinement here?

  • You can double tap to zero something but I'm not aware of anything else.

Cheers PhilW, yep double tap I know is in there, but like you said, it resets the knobs/sliders.

  • Seems likes it’s going to be a lot of work to refactor into AU. Could be another Synthmaster type delay in implementation.

Several crashes here yesterday while using It. Not mapping to my controller well with midi learn either. On the other hand I opened up Future Drummer and used Animoog to control Syntronik and the sounds that came out were incredibly nice! Looking forward to future bug fixes because this is so much fun.

Yeah there’s a few initial bugs. Kinda par the course these days. Not really surprised these days, as there are so many variations of iPad and many that can’t even be reliable tested on. At least IK multimedia usually do update their apps.

And they created the iLoud! Anyone who makes something that great has to be doing something right. Syntronik through the iLoud for a win! Seriously has to be one of my most used pieces of hardware . My acoustic guitar gets the top spot for gear most used.

  • This has raised the game for sampled instruments on the iPad. I couldn’t afford the desktop version hence this is the next best thing. There is a reason it’s cheaper than the desktop version you can only have one instance running at the time

  • Celebrating much goodness here.
