I was able to scroll down on an apps page to the area where it says "in-app purchases" and when I hit the little triangle rollout the in-app purchase list was displayed with prices. Does this not work for all apps?

Only works if the developer explicitly enables it for their app and goes through some additional hoops...

I noticed I can't download purchased iPad apps to my phone via the store now - the sneaky so and so's try and get me to pay again. Noticed this with the FluxPad update, and again when I went to install Ripplemaker on the phone. I now have to go to the Purchased Apps section to find and download them there. Before the update there'd be a download icon on the store itself.

I noticed this as well, if you don’t go to purchased apps then it tries to charge you again!

    That’s fucked!

That really is fucked!!! But can you purchase an item that you already purchased again? Think there some brake or mechanisme to prevent this built in the AppStore. btw I'm still on 10.3.3 so don't have this problem :)

No, you can’t be charged twice as far as I can tell. It’s just a bug in the App Store that sometimes displays the purchase button instead of the download button. I just click it and ‘buy’ the app, but don’t get charged for it.

    thought so. thanks!

  • Wishlist hack- wish it wasn't needed but since it is : click on the 3 dots and share it to an Evernote notebook that you set up for it. Not as good due to extra steps, but it does work.

  • The worrying thing is this new AppStore going to become the new iTunes! :'(

I have to say, if you can't remember what was on your wishlist, you probably don't need to buy it.

This is the difference between need and want. :)

I would often see an app that I’d like the idea of, but needed further info about before tapping Buy. Usually a demo or the views of early adopters. About half the time I eventually found that the app was not for me. But the other half, I’d buy it once I’d understood what it offered. Now that option is made more difficult.

We all have busy lives, or stuff going on. A reminder list of things that caught our fleeting attention, perhaps when we did not have time to investigate, was a very useful thing. But not any more, :'(
