Looks good. Something that will sync up with my live gear I hope.
That thing never worked for me. Some cool sounds and an interesting U.I., but it crashed a ton and was laggy on all but the newest devices. WR6000 (mostly) worked, but that was another wasted investment. You'd think I'd learn from all these failed groovebox experiments, yet here I still post...

Having seen Jims taste in sounds on poison-202, i might get this for sampling drums from it.
Anyone know how this does drums? Is it just samples, or does this have some sort of drum synth engine to go with the samples?
Looks solid, Audiobus only, didn’t see a mention of IAA or AU, wait to see on release.
You will be able to use it as an AB/IAA 'Input'(That's straight from the man in charge).
Some features might not be available in V1.0 but will come...
(These will most likely be described in the app description on release).
It's a 'one man show' and thus the expectations should be kept at a reasonable level but that's just me
Totally agree Samu with that statement, glad it’s got IAA but wouldn’t be a deal breaker as for the kind of app it is. JIMAUDIO always delivers, history shows.
Poison-202 still has some issues with moving the knobs in response to incoming automation data so I do hope Jim gets some time to fix that too. Right know he's focused on getting Groove Rider 1.0 out to the AppStore...
(Hope he manages to add some testers to 'TestFlight' as that's been causing problems for him).

In that case it will be interesting to see how Jim deals with transitions between patterns. Iirc Korg got a lot of criticism for their implementation.
He's got some problems shooting out betas?!(something regarding internal/external betas).
If you know how this works I think he'd appreciate some help...(I know nothing about this).
main problem of pattern switching in electribe is, that you get stopped all envelope releases and delays/reverb tails... simply patches on all channels are switched simultaneously without holding sound tails from previous pattern... which is clearly result of poor cpu, i guess there is not enough dsp power to render tails from previous pattern (just my guess base on fact that there is massive polyphony stealing if you use too much fxs and filters in pattern)
there is also a hell loy of bugs, for example icorrectly triggered short envelopes during tweaking knobs on any channel, ocassional freezes, and lot other things.. i have electribe and is massive fail, you can very quickly end with just 10 voices of real polyphony on electribe)
just a pity that Jim uses also just 4 bars length of pattern, that is very often critised disadvantage of Electribe, old EMX had 8 bars per pattern
Btw what kind of problems he have with beta testing ? If it is related to testflight, there is diawi service - one developer for which i'm testing app and working on patch design (i'm not allowed say which one :-)) uses diawi for delivering betas and it works like a charm, i receive email with link, open it in safari and new beta installs on my device ... easy like breeze
