That worked! Thanks!
Happy Beatmaking
Nope... bloody thing...
@JangoMango sorry man.
Just updated on the mini1 to check things out.
The dotted line note movement seems broken.
I fixed my problem (if anyone asks)
Will certainly wait for .06 (or .07) for the main ipad.
Working for me. What kind of files are those?
Hide the BM3 'file browser' and try again...
(For me it doesn't matter if it's open or not).
Just saw that you are 'dragging from BM3 to BM3' try from another source...
Use the new 'arrows' to move them...
The dotted lines always annoyed me as they gave no proper indication about their function
Thanks guys.. tried all sources.. AudioShare, local, iCloud.. no dice.. oh well.. not the end of the world.. thanks for your time.
+1000
Awww... i seemed to have better luck with the dotted lines. I don't see why they shouldn't still work. It was nice having all that range to tap and slide. Particularly on a smaller ipad.

That way worked perfectly for me and was one of my favorite things about the piano roll editor. Rats.
^ yep, 100% agree. Its a shame. Ill wait for 3.06 or when they come back before I update on my main machine.
So, don't upgrade?
It depends on how much you like the dotted bars for editting. The rest seems to be ok. Have you not got a spare machine to try it out?
I get that too...
The option might come back with the arrows indicating what happens... (Ie. on the top dotted line an up arrow, and bottom dotted line down arrow, and same for the left and right dotted lines).
I was a bit surprised we only got the < > and > since it would have made more sense to have a 'cross'(left-right & up-down) for moving and < > for adjusting lenght... Some users even asked it if was possible to move the notes up/down based on the arrow images...
The more feedback Intua gets the more 'adapted to our needs' the app becomes
That doesn't really make much sense, the top and bottom white lines both do the same thing, move up and down, so having an up on the upper and down on the lower makes no sense.
Where are these users asking about these arrow images, I don't see anything on the Intua request forum, I can't find any request to change from the dotted white lines to these arrows ?
It won't fit on the Air1 and not Universal so 7plus is no help.
I don't know off top of my head what dotted lines we are all talking about.
I can wait.
I have no issues now with it so not fucking it up
Not everything regarding request gets posted on the web forums.
They get a lot of direct feedback as well (that's what I've understood from my mail-communication with them).
A load of requests come from BM2 users since some areas are still not even on par with the old version...
So the developers told you they had a lot of requests for these arrows ?
Only that they had been requested to make things clearer than just dotted lines...
Sorry i misunderstood, when you said some users even asked if it was possible to use arrows to move up and down, i thought this had been requested somewhere.
It's ok
If we look at the 'arrows' from the perspective of being to able to automate ui objects using a midi-controller it will make sense in the long run. But that's something for another completely different discussion...
Makes no sense for touch control though, the arrow is under your finger and cant be seen as soon as you tap, and neither can small items or item start points, it is a very bad design.
That's the way most touch-based apps are by design.
They indicate where you can touch and once your finger is on it it doesn't really matter anymore
(Look at all knobs and sliders in just about any app).
I hate to say it... but when bm3 exports to Cubasis its offbeat and sounds like kaka!
so...can i update it now?or there`re still some problems in 3.0.5?
