@LucidMusicInc I love both of those. Sunvox tracker is a little bit of a hassle to use on iPad without a qwerty kb, but I think an update is coming to allow Midi control of more than one module at a time. But I can simultaneously record 4 channels of Midi into the tracker right now so I have been playing it that way.

It really helped me figure out what I should get for a first WT synth. Even though I have made up my mind, feel free to keep adding to this topic if you have something relevant and feel like sharing. I am sure it will help others as well since this topic covers a less explored or familiar area of synthesis.

Virsyn’s wavetable synth isn’t Addictive or Addictive Pro (both of which are additive synths and amazing and worth having)
Virsyns wavetable is Poseidon, which is great, and has much to recommend it. It overlaps with Nave but is slightly easier to load user waves, and has more fx.
Strictly personal opinion here:
While I am a fan of Virsyns, Poseidon does not sound as good (a general summation here) as Nave or Infinite. Others may not agree here, just stating my opinion.
Just to add though, it can still sound great!

Nave is the holy grail of iOS wavetable story telling, modulation, and strength.
Naves only weakness.
Its power.
I consider myself a master Nave user and programmer of presets, but, the sounds of the app have a niche.
It doesn't get into the ethereal depths that find in Posieden.
So, I would love to hear that Schtye or whatever name is --will rise to the occasion or not.

AniMoog is actually a quite pure 'wave-table synth' as well even though Moog calls it Anisotropic Morphing something something... (Hoping it will get AUv3 treatment as well).

I think of all the PPG apps as one great Wavetable plus super synth!
Yepp, and It's quite smart strategy from Wolfgang to have a 'dependency' between the apps, they need 'each other' for full functionality / maximum flexibility
I know I’ve only scratched the surface with the PPG apps, but I spent three hours yesterday on Infinite (importing stuff from all the other apps). While I still love Nave, it’s lack of AU makes Hulk sad
Yep. I saw greatness in both, and also a whole rack of subtle trade-offs between them so I bought/use both. For me, the sounds in Nave (in the available banks, see below) are stunning, but in Poseidon I understand better how to make my own. A personal thing again
One consideration among the PPGs and Nave and Poseidon is the plentitude and availability of presets. Nave probably has the most free and pay banks available, amazing things, including amazing stuff by forum members. Poseidon ships with 600 presets. The PPGs catalogues are likely as big as Nave’s has become or will do. One of my favorite favorite banks for Wavemapper (tons of detailed useful beautiful sounds) comes from Mr. @Fruitbat1919 himself right here...
Speaking of Wavemapper (which might be my desert island software synth) i am having a confusing time trying to load/send/transfer sounds from Phonem to Wavemapper. I can see there is a very sophisticated system in place for file sharing. In fact, it might be over my head. Totally user error. Reading the manual didn't seem to produce results. (I have successfully loaded a bank from Wavemapper to Minimapper. But that is the extent of it.) I would really like to get those great choral and vocal Phonem waves into Wavemapper. Probably something simple... the riddle is always easy once you know the answer.
Any help or clues (or favorite recipes for turkey stuffing) would be appreciated!

The one thing you gotta know when comparing this to just one of the apps, is that the XT and XTK are both multitimbral.
Yes, the PPG apps can have multiple instances of AU, but don’t expect to be doing what the guy is doing in that video with one app.
You would need further fx for the PPG apps as they are a bit fx sparse.
Besides, if you love wavetable goodness, you should buy all the PPG apps, Nave and Poseidon!
I have Nave and WaveGenerator for start (along with Animoog if it counts?), but havent dived into them yet! Recently saw that mwXT video and was amazed, so i got intereseted again.
