  • Nave in ios , but if your looking desktop, check out synthmaster. they just updated a few days ago and it’s awesome. and it’s on sale for christmas i believe. such a awesome synth

  • Mr Palm's works, past, present and future.

  • Poseidon has had an update since this thread began, waveform visualization repaired for iOS 11...couple other things

Sorry for bringing this thread to surface, but i'm curious

What would you pick as closest to Walforf MicroWave XT?

    Also see chillout sounds example:

Some people consider that Waldorf Nave, like Largo or Blofeld, were colder and harsher. Your thoughts?

  • I’m making lots of lush sounds with Wavemapper

So, which one can make sounds like this?:

    listen to this beauty <3

I had the keyboard version of this synth.

The one thing you gotta know when comparing this to just one of the apps, is that the XT and XTK are both multitimbral.

Yes, the PPG apps can have multiple instances of AU, but don’t expect to be doing what the guy is doing in that video with one app.

You would need further fx for the PPG apps as they are a bit fx sparse.

Besides, if you love wavetable goodness, you should buy all the PPG apps, Nave and Poseidon! ;)

I love this guy's waldorf tracks so i know a little back story. This is just using one sound, it's monotimbral. He's just an expert knob twiddler.

  • You’ll need a bottle of advil with iwavestation

  • Time to revive this thread...

Now that I’ve missed out on the PPG synths I’ve just realised that I’ve got so many VA, FM and PD synths but only Scythe for my wavetable needs. Factory is something else right?

Anyway please can you recommend me an AUv3 wavetable?

    Thank you

  • Scythe might even be free right now again but it does have a ton of IAP's.
It's such a unique sound I recommend all the IAP wave and FX packs.

Does Korg's iWaveStation meet the required elements?

Well I've got scythe and I bought all the IAPs but I'm really after an AU synths because, y'know....

Korg haven't gone AU yet have they?

Electribe Wave is AU and wavetable

Very underrated and unloved little synth Scythe ... nice though, and an excellent intro to wavetables. You can see everything. Very powerful bit of kit actually - very musical.

My go-to wavetable synth is Groove Rider because it's the only one I know that will load Serum wavetables from my desktop, allow for smooth wavetable modulations and has up to 16 simultaneous four-voice wavetable engines in one box.
It's also super-easy to use and can receive multichannel MIDI in case you prefer a sequencer other than the built-in one.
Making sounds like in the XT video?
No problem, load that wavetable from the video and start tweaking!

@jimpavloff might have considered building a wavetable synth AUv3 version, who knows, but it seems that 303/606/808 clones are much more sought-after 😉

  • I myself prefer Electribe Wave as far as AU wavetable synths are concerned, but my bread-and-butter by far is Obsidian in Nanostudio 2 despite it not being AU and despite the fact it doesn't load Serum wavetables like Grooverider. I hope someday Obsidian will be able to load custom wavetables. :)

  • Synthmaster one is wave table.

I believe synthmaster one loads them also,
