  • And that would most likely indicate that a new version will pop up during next week or so, at least that's what I hope :)

  • Bargain, for anyone thinking about getting into Cubasis. Very nice app, well worth getting.

  • If the rumours regarding the Wave's Plug-Ins are true the discount is almost like getting them for free :)

  • IAPs are currently £3.99, is that the normal price or is this discounted too?

    The IAPs are normal price.

  • I had figured on an update for Thanksgiving, looks like I might have been correct in that assumption.

There's some screen-snaps from the Cubasis LE version in anoither thread here at the AB forums where some Waves Plug-Ins show up as IAPs... (I can't see them in the Swedish AppStore though).

  • Don’t price drops usually precede the update?

  • The IAPs are definitely half price too.

  • Here’s a screenshot of the waves plugins that were showing in the App Store earlier this week.

And here’s an employee confirming an update coming soon

    Lovely. And true.

My mistake, and for the record the IAPs are (roughly) 40% their normal price of $6.99.

Nice. Very nice...though I wish Waves had gone AU

  • If one of the new Waves IAP is Waves Tune, that would be a instabuy and a game changer I frankly wish Auria Pro had provided. Let’s see. I don’t have Cubasis on my iPad anymore, so please let me know if Waves Tune is included. Cheers!

Yeah that seems par for the course.

OK cool. I have the FX IAPs already, is the Drum IAP worth getting? I've heard mixed reviews but i'm not keen on the original drum sounds ...

  • Bought it, fired it up, midi out to my Digitakt froze the DT. Frustrating little box, that Digitakt.

I've not bought it, but it seems like a decent enough deal if you like the sounds of old school drum machines like Roland's TR-808/TR-909. These sounds are still popular in hip-hop, trap, and modern pop.

Here's the thread when the Classic Machines IAP launched...

  • I wonder if the new update will be as good as Garageband is now...

Cubasis will still have the edge when it comes to detailed midi & audio editing no doubt about that.
There's no denying that GarageBand has come a long way and I would not be surprised if more adavanced features are already in place waiting to be unlocked in a future update :)

  • GB better for everything-in-one-app projects, though Cubasis will do those too. Cubasis better for playing nicely with others. I hate GB's walled garden aspect, even though it is a very nice walled garden.

... so please let me know if Waves Tune is included.

Only the three ‚25th aniversary plugins‘ were shown as IAP and a bundle of all three plugins for a little bit more than the cost of two:

Waves has so many quality plugins, i hope we‘ll get even more in the future :)
But for now we have to wait for the Cubasis update containg these three ...

  • I’m hoping for a proper bus functions (sub grouping), iOS 11 files integration, and clip gain (if that’s not already included)

  • Waves just recently redesigned the interfaces of those plug-ins, so it makes sense for them to get ported to iOS first.

Those same three plugins were the ones that were showing as IAP in the App Store for Cubasis

  • Waves is an industry's standard for Mastering. If this happens(hope so)...... it may put the Fabfilters in Auria Pro some competiton? It's a bloody shame shame that that Fabfilters/PSP/ & Waves did not release there plugin on iOS as an individual unit(preferably as an AU Unit)....... But that's my 2cents...... I mean Korgs Deemax Gadget has a simular effect as Slates Digital FX vst

Yea it would be cool to use them as AU in any app but they have partnerships with those apps. They probably won’t leave that specific app
