- Extreme deals are too extreme, aren't they?7 votes
- They are too extreme! My plans have been different. I will buy nonetheless.85.71%
- I don't like extremism. So i plan to avoid extreme deals like this.14.29%

I recommend Unique for iPhone.
It works with your iPad (still useable, just a bit smaller as the real iPad version). The app seem to have some glitches (sometimes GUI is a bit sluggish, sometimes - seldom - suddenly no sound or crackles at the start of sounds with fast attack envelopes).
BUT:
Bargain alarm!

Am I wrong or Unique sounds similar to Zeeon?
I’ve had the iPad version for a few weeks now, & was a bit disappointed with it for being so sluggish on my 2017 Pro .. Does the iPhone version have less latecy than iPad version, when running it on an iPad? I like the sound sculpting features and would love to have a playable version. Haven’t tried it with a midi keyboard but it’s nearly unplayable via onscreen KB.
I can't compare it to Zeeon.
(i thank god! i don't own all of them.)
Comparing via Youtube i would say, sound quality is a bit below Zeeon. I think it has some similarities to Yonac Kauldron (but sounds a small bit better than Kauldron, if you ask me) - and it is special for its own. It has some very unique (!) opportunities for sound design. It can be used like an VA, but it goes far behind.
Oriental Strings is now $1.99.
Voiceband is on sale for a buck .. It’s basically a toy, but might be ok for singing out song ideas on the road. Fun to play around with;
WHAT A STEAL!
No, very different in my opinion. There's a characteristic Sugarbytes filter sound that this has in spades. Leans very much towards funky sounds, though you can get more out of it than that.
And backwards compatible to iOS 5! Installing now on my 4th gen iPod.
It's really versatile, and not just limited to "the exotic" (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Just bought it for my iPhone 6+... now how can I get it show up in the App Store on my iPad iOS 11?
I was having trouble finding the iPhone version on my iPad as well. Here's what I did:
Search for Unique in the App Store on your iPad and open up the apps page
Press "Sugar Bytes GmbH" right under where it says Unique for iPad to open up the developers page
You should see Unique for iPhone under "Apps"
Download it
Done!
I do it a little differently...
Search for Unique, then in the upper-left corner of the app store app, change from iPad Only to iPhone Only.
Yeah so that's the first thing I tried but it still didn't show up for whatever reason.. Unless I just didn't scroll down far enough
It might vary depending on your country's app store, but if you don't see it after selecting iPhone Only, you can filter the results further.
I wasn't trying to 'one up' you, just giving an alternative.
Audo Damage effects are also on sale WOW!
Thanks for the help guys. I’m in the USA so I had to Use @illaddin’s method. @telecharge I used to use your method, but that feature disappeared for me on one of the iOS 11 updates.
I'm all over it. Thanks!
There's blood in the water... the feeding frenzy has begun!
Awesome, This finishes up the Audio Damage collection.
No problem! I'm all for alternatives

Buy an iPop Touch 4 G for 50 Dollar or an iPhone 4s for 60 Dollar - as a place for apps like this.
;-)
Also, I've just found that if you already have iSymphonic and Oriental Strings (and presumably if you've just bought them at the sale price), you can complete the Crudebyte Audio Apps bundle (normally £18.99 round these parts) to add CMP Grand Piano and iCathedral Organ for, erm, £0.51. I can't believe that's intended.
Bundle prices are supposed to be based on what you've already spent, but it doesn't always calculate correctly.
The iPad version of Unique got a 1 octave keyboard, meanwhile the iPhone version got 2-3 something? Why? I really like Unique, but how are you supposed to play using only 1 octave? 2,5 to 3 octaves should be available options in every iOS synth. It's rare to see a synth nowadays that make use of the touchscreen when it comes to the keys. But Unique on the iPad, unless I've missed something, is probably the worst offender to date lmao. Back in the day so many bitched n moaned about Sugar Bytes tiny UIs, I guess this is the result of all that. Still love SB though:-) Ugh....Mondays.... ... DOT DOT DOT
Picked up audio damage pumphouse and grind. I use replicant a lot when messing with drums in aum. Love it. Rough rider is pretty great too. Trying to keep purchases down, will probably resist eos and dubstation, they look great but i have delays and reverbs so looking to get stuff i don’t have.
EOS is my ultimate reverb period.
Scythe synth is free right now, not sure for how long

Hey thanks! Looks cool. I like how the knobs work. Zoom and vertical/horizontal. Will play tomorrow.
That's unique and scythe synths now for a total of $1
I'm doing alright.
Thanks, man. If the dev is going to make their app free, the least I can do it promote it (and the guys that inform us!).
