@LuisMartinez - any chance you’ll ever add a crash cymbal lane in your sequencers? Not all crashes come on the 1 ... I realize there are workarounds playing with time signatures in song mode, but sequencing such a straightforward song mode shouldn’t involve trigonometric calculations. Aaaand, a case could be made that Middle Eastern rhythm has greater emphasis on the 3 beat than most Western music, so ... pretty please?
Seriously, my only complaint as an otherwise happy owner of Rock, Funk and Soft Drummer. If I had a dime for every riff I write needing a crash on the 7th 8th note rather than the 1st beat of the next measure, I’d have enough to buy the rest of your excellent apps

If this is your thing then this is your thing. @Tarekith made an excellent tune in this month's SOTMC which had a few of us thinking middle eastern, can't help but wonder what he'd make playing against this lot. Certainly not cheap, but with my other head such an absolute steal if you want/need/can incorporate these sounds/style into your work....

as it was mentioned before, this app has MIDI out and Ableton Link. This alone makes this app very valuable to me because I find it interesting to use such rhythms in electronic music. I‘m used to study traditional rhythms and to program sequencers or DAWs, but it‘s often too abstract, too technical. And very time consuming, because I have to approach these ancient rhythms with my mind, not with my body or with experience.
When doing this kind of work I find myself with a couple of static rhythms. I can duplicate them on the timeline and insert variations, but because I‘m not a percussionist or musician, the result is not good enough most of the time.
It is helpful if a sequencer or sequencer app provides programmable variation (probability if a note is on or not) and expecially real-time variation where you can play the sequencer. Much more important if a pattern is based on long-time tradition and culture, or if a pattern is based on pure math. For example, Euclidian sequencers provide similar patterns as traditional ones, but they are still a bit different, they don‘t have life.
That‘s why I appreciate Mid East Drummer very much. It provides variations that derive from ancient rhythms. Everything I get is a living percussion when I play the app (same with Different Drummer which I have as well).
Edit: of course the internal samples are top. I use them too when I play with friends.

AfroLatin is my favourite. Amazing rhythms. Once Link gets fixed in Future Drummer I will really start using that as well.
Very pleased that he has now put out Middle East rhythms. Right up my street.
Hmmm. I’d expected to grab this straight away, at maybe something like £9.99.
Every dev has the right to charge whatever they wish, of course, but at almost £18 this is too much for me.
Not saying this isn’t high quality. It’s more a case of how often would I want to use Mid East drums. I already have apps that include Mid East sounds, and at very nice quality. So those will have to do, at least until sale time.
BTW, whatever happened to intro pricing, especially as Xmas.
Lovely drummachine. Rythm and sound wise very special and inpirational. And with reards to funtionality, quality and connectivity as with all of Luis’ drummers absolutely top notch.

Hi is it possible to record these patterns as midi in cubasis, I was trying but couldn’t get anywhere.
It is Chrimble after all and no decent partner would wish to look too closely at the bill when there might be a last minute present beloved on there etc....
