This will be very useful.
Is it possible to control the pattern with midi keys?
Thanks. I use it Cubasis3 though.. 😞
What is the second app that you use?
Looks like Flux Pro?
Edit: Flux Mini
Flux mini indeed.
Aren’t parameters of midi apps available in Cubasis?
If I remember correctly those of ‘regular’ au’s are.
Haven’t got Cubasis downloaded atm.
Yes but in C3, parameter automations aren’t visible by default , they only show up in the menu after user records them. So I was able to record gate speed groove etc but werent able to record pattern switching
I see that SPA has recently been made available for MacOS - does anyone know if you get it for free on MacOS if you've already purchased it in iOS?
its a separate purchase
thanks
Is it possible to apply the Scale settings in Seq mode with the default relative row assignment?
If start from an empty preset, select Seq, select some scale (such as G Major), and put some notes into the "+0" row, and then record any instrument with this StepPolyArp as MIDI Effects in Cubasis, the midi records these as C3, not as G3.
Can it be setup so that based on the selected Scale, the relative row assignments (+0, +2 etc.) use the notes of the scale?
They do use the notes of the scale. But the note you play is what the intervals are based from. Try playing an F with that same setup. An F# will be output from StepPolyArp. Try setting the steps to interval +2, then play an E. F# will be output. Set the interval to +5 and play a C. F# will be output.
I think you're thinking that somehow setting the scale to G should transpose a C to a G. That isn't how it works.
If you want to play white keys starting from C and transpose into G Major, you'll need to transpose up to G using some other tool such as Rozeta Scaler or the Simple Scaler Mozaic script.
