...Thanks, but, that screenshot is taken from the development of the Windows version...

Can we get a release before summer 2018?

I don't know Errka, note on the bottom right suggests it's not far away from the iOS version...

That is the skin that the iOS version will resemble. Also they say they will be showing the ipad version, which was the point of the post.

  • Sounds pretty cool.

  • Volca mix is pretty neat but I do not get the speakers. Surely they're only good enough for basic monitoring but since the Volcas all have speakers already...

Cool that it has an aux send, LP\HP per channel and side chain compression built in (not sure how that works yet) but its only got three channels! it's going to have to come in pretty cheap to beat the Vixen with 10 channels, and 2 auxes with 1/4" connections. https://kvgear.com/products/vixen-mixer

  • I think you guys might be referring to the Vixen mixer that was kick starting late last year...
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vixenmixer/vixen-mixer

Looks pretty handy, but was a bit too much for me at the time, and I am not a KS fan.

Just feeling like Korg hit a grounder to first when they could have hit a homer. Clock dividers? Motion sequencing for live automation? More inputs? Effects are all master effects so they're on all channels? Promoted as a "clock master for your volcas" but with no MIDI in? Not battery powered? Just... kinda meh.

I haven't seen actual pictures, only rumors on - I think - Elektron forum.
    Still hoping it's legit.

Maybe it’s another... anyways it will be welcome for sure

    Just found this:

Seems legit, but not what I was hoping for.

They could have lost the speakers and rammed in another 2 channels.

  • Prologue sounds great.

    Hefty tag though.

    I bet 199€ later 150€ second hand.

Midi usually is an extra diy in these boxes :smirk:

I think is quite interesting, now I need a Volca phrase sampler or Roland Rc505 boutique

  • Interested in SynthMaster One!

Audinate just announced a really cool line of Dante-enabled Adapters. There are 1 and 2 Channel Analog I/O’s, and a USB-to-Dante one. So you connect your iOS device/Analog Synth/Speakers/Mixer to your Dante Network. Once the Audio is on your network, you can route it anywhere on your network. An example would be plugging out your iPad to your network Switch with the USB dongle, then you can route that Audio to/from your iPad anywhere on your network (You’ll need the Dante Via/Controller Software too). **Edit - Available 2nd Quarter 2018, no pricing yet. Link: https://audinate.com/products/devices/dante-avio?link=h-car

  • I’m building something similar to the rk55 pro using a novation launchcontrol (not xl) for Launchpad app.

  • @Aud_iOS : Do these adaptors need to runni g I side ifthe Dante system?

Dante works with software, so if using 1 computer you’d be able to get by with Dante Via & Dante Controller. If you want to route between multiple computers, you’d just need an additional license for Via & Controller. Via is the virtual sound card app that enables all your software and hardware to pass audio between each other (called Sources/Destinations in Dante Speak). Dante Controller is the app that passes audio over your network, between computers (called Transmitter/Receivers), or Dante hardware. Here’s a couple screenshots of my setup.

All of the Volcas have MIDI In. Without MIDI In, there's no way to sync this 'clock master' to the rest of your gear. I guess if you have a 100% volca rig it wouldn't matter but that seems the exception. As is, most any other Volca would be a better clock distributor if you need to sync with other gear. Particularly because there's nothing special about this clock other than the tempo display. If it had multiple outs or clock dividers or whatever, that'd be different.

  • Very nice to see Dante getting picked up more and more lately.

I’m a big fan, I rewired my house this fall and decided it was the way to go for the studio but also the tv’s, kids devices etc... these new dongles are going to rock... cant wait to plug out the Audiohub 2x4’s host cable to my switch, along with the line outs, same too for the Circuit’s audio outs... switch becomes the new audio patch bay, no more distance limitations of usb... so yeah, my NAMM is already made!

Korg Prologue sounds totally boring to me ... demo is drowned in reverb/delay and overally it sounds just like better plugin than HW analog ...

    @syrupcore
but since the Volcas all have speakers already...

but if you connect volca using audio cable to that mixer, volca's internal speaker is muted :)

Well, at least it could serve as a pretty keyboard controller for our great iOS synths ... albeit a rather expensive one :open_mouth:
Maybe they'll release a $399 version with 0 voices of polyphony - I'd buy it and control my blofeld with it. :relieved:

Question is who is target group for Prologue .. If keyboard players, if it is mentioned as stage keyboard, them it is good product. Looks soldt, good mechanical construction, if keys are playable then it will be success most probably.

Definitely not interesting for advanced sound design, way too limited .. for half of that price there is DeepMind 6 with way much more modulation posibilities (and more interesting sound in my opinion)
