Sorry to ask but ow do you add Silence to a Timbre slot?

    Thanks.

tap timbre and then have a squiz at the list. can't remember where it is exactly. insert according to taste

  • Video of me setting Animoog timbres to silence.

  • I got all the IAPs, they’re great.

Some absolute gems here. Thank you!

Holy smokes, you are right. I picked out one preset (Rustik Preset X Bank, Bass Lo Fugue) and the attention to detail is amazing. I got a little line going with my fingers barely pressing the keys and then made a mistake an slid my finger along the key and that changes the whole sound up. I think there is a level of sophistication in both the presets that Rustik has designed but also in this app that just goes so unappreciated, especially by newbies like myself.

I've always gotten lost in this app. Every tutorial I've followed has been helpful but the depth here is incredible.

Wasn’t there a Grateful Dead Pack? I remember people seemed pretty impressed with it. I don’t see it in the store on either iPad or iPhone now.

You're right; it appears to no longer be available. I have it and it sounds great. Disclaimer: I think it sounds great and I am decidedly not a Dead fan. I tried to like them, but I have to agree with a friend who once said, "I was so diapponted. I had been expecting psychedelic genius, but I listened and they sound like the freakin' Hillbilly Bear Jamboree!"

That’s unfortunate .. I purchased the Grateful Dead pack not more than two months ago., along with most of the other IAP. Hopefully it’ll atleast be recoverable for those who’ve already purchased it.

Could it be they renamed the IAP? AmpKit recently renamed a bunch of their name brand amps. I’m assuming the licensing ran out.

Animoog is indeed something i use since years and will go on.
It has a strong character (a bit similar to the digital flavor of PPG apps) and i mostly use just my favorite preset (tweaked a lot as well).
Of course you can get a lot interesting sounds out of it but for some reason half of the sounds have the very same flavor, whatever timbre i use.
However, for moving pads which really breath and some impressive leads it´s a wonderful tool. Like with Model 15 i really love the delay. Add some good reverb after that and you have a nice set-up.
If they would make it AUv3 and make it possible to import, search and set-up different timbres more easy, or even better let us use a wav to timbre tool on top, it would be super great.
Otherwise it´s still one of the first and still today one of the most impressive apps for a touch screen.
The Animoog keys are much bigger and more useful as in Model 15, especially on my iPhone.
For some reason they don´t added 3D touch support, at least i can´t get it to work (user fault?) but pencil pressure.

The original Hillbilly (or Country) Bear Jamboree were an animatronic string band display at Knott's Berry Farm, and were indeed adorable, but hardly any competition for Quicksilver Messenger Service or Hawkwind :#
