  • Blocs Wave is by my favorite @AmpifyxNovation app by far. I have not gelled with GrooveBox yet, feels more sterile where I find Blocs Wave more inspiring and fl. I’ve purchased all the sound packs. With the slicer tool, audio import and EQ, I feel it’s more pro level. Definitely needs MIDI hardware support. Exporting to LaunchPad iOS is cool but exporting Blocs Wave sections to a Groovebox section would be great! I love the sound packs in Blocs Wave over the other apps, by a wide margin.

    I have a LaunchPad Pro and the AudioHub so I’m definitely a Novation fan. Keep making great tools for us, thanks!

    That Groovebox thing is just another rompler.

    Seriously wrong here, there is nothing rompler about the synths.

    You are right, I hadn’t had a proper look, apologies from me. It’s a very powerful bit of kit.

    @AmpifyxNovation

    Both should have the exact same sound packs - buying it once just get's it in the other.
    I mean, just use "restore IAP" in any of them and get what you bought where ever.

    However if you use a mixture of samples from Blocs and Launchpad packs, when you export this to Launchpad the sound levels are all wrong and sound awful. It has been documented on a couple of threads here.

    I have also asked @AmpifyxNovation via 3 different support channels about this, but it all hits radio silence.

    Which is a shame. :(
