What APP would you like a tutorial on?

Wondered if any forum members had any requests to learn about tutorial or just a show and tell on any apps?

I may do something this week and if not one of the real gurus like Doug or Dirk Dabbler may see this and do one.

AUDIO dabbler. ;)

The one app I would really appreciate a tutorial or 2 in is Phonem please.

  • B-Step please ;) (from your other thread)
I've been looking for the best sequencer/drum machine template for Launchpad. (my MK2 doesn't have drum layout like the pro) B_Step looks like just what I need to use with my old ipad mini 2 (ios 9) and Launchpad Mk2 as a secondary jam rig. Its not been updated since 2015 so hesitant to buy.
The only app I have which lights up the Launchpad is GridInstrument, which is good for keys but I'd love a sequencer.

  • AudioCopy, please! :D
Quantum would be nice. Model-15 too. An in-depth tutorial on making Animoog custom presets and timbres would be much appreciated.

Quantum step by step tutorial already exists, and it's great.

    I'd like a GR16 for dummies, personally.

  • All of the apesoft stuff. I don't know how many times I've deleted those apps (all of them) and then realized I am not giving them their full attention that they command ---re-installled them---and then still been confounded

  • Apesoft apps are extremely difficult for me as well and there is not that much information available. Anyone know how?

  • Patterning. I have it and feel like I'm completely under-utilizing it

  • Kirnu Cream Mobile.

  • Borderlands Granular - well, getting something useful out of it anyway. And a second to the request on Patterning.

    Audulus 3

    same with audulus
I never use audulus, the UI is shit, looks pretty but I think its unusable >:)
same with Moog model 15 >:)
all that scrolling around, bah >:)
what the hell were they thinking when they made those UIs? >:)
I understand how to use them, but they are no fun to use and not quick enough because of the UI for my taste

I love the UI of Model 15. Not that I’d want all synth apps to be that way, but I think it is fun and makes you feel like you’re maki g a real patch. That said, to me it doesn’t need a tutorial, but I’m lucky enough to be familiar with the original Model 15.

Not my choice of words but I share the sentiment about Audulus. Same with Sunvox, this type of thing appeals to a certain type of person. It's more mathematical than musical. In both apps I've been blown away by the engineering marvel by what some people have accomplished with it and how enigmatic the process must have been but at the same time it's pretty chiptuny sounding at best. My experiences trying to learn it however have been mental torture :p

  • Some videos with some mixing or mastering tips / basics. Cubasis and or one of the mastering apps like audio mastering or final touch preferably.

  • I second the requests for Phonem and Patterning.

  • Synthscaper

  • Kymatika’s Oscillator

  • +1 for GR-16. Got caught up in the initial excitement and bought it (damn you, AB forum!). Opened it once. Went back to cubasis and gadget. Please help. I also keep hearing things I love made in sunvox, but every time I open it my musical brain retreats to the corner and hides behind its Steely Dan collection, sobbing.

GridInstrument will set MK2 Launchpad into a Drum Layout, Settings-Layout-Drum rack ;)

I think your brains can't handle the simplicity after using ivcs3 to much. :)
