New Muzz album
Yves Tumor newest album is outta this world yet great at same time. Here’s Kerosene off the album...
I have a ritual to listening every evening with our newborn for bedtime Brian Eno‘s music for airports.
I think I used it for sleep like hundreds of times and it seems the little dude is enjoying it too. I really like The first track. It’s just sublime!
Dronetastic
The new Ninja Tune release, Keleketla!, one of the best combos of African music, jazz, soul and funk I've heard. All the more poignant for having the late Tony Allen on drums! Such a solid and enjoyable album.
Probably posted this before, but never mind. One of the best evenings of my days was when this lot, and about 20 others stayed at our place for a week, for joint gigs with our band. Jamming until daylight in a very packed, psychedelically enhanced front room with three fiddles fiddling and about 50 guitarists:
Very very very good good good

Proper lovely geezer too:
You’ve posted these before Monz. Have I? I’m old, I forget things...
One of the most innovative and intelligent electronic releases I've heard in a while.

So much good stuff coming out of the new London jazz scene these days, heavily influenced by Carribean music, hip hop and electronica. This one is more on the straight ahead funky jazz ticket:
This man is a genius. John Zorn. He can't compose bad music. Living legend.
Great! You may (or may not) be surprised how non-weird this video is for someone used to Chinese culture 😂

Every time. I forget how to embed Bandcamp
Edit: And it seems that link goes to the whole album. Sigh. It was the track "Lovely Gold" that caught my ear.
Yea - his new LP is excellent - kinda ‘Systems of Romance’ for 2020.
Any italo fans in here?
