This is her take (with some friends) of the old Blind Faith/Stevie Winwood thing Can't find my way home. Reminds me so much of how it's the feel and how as perfect is so often the enemy of good etc.
Two of my favorite musicians working together for the first and only time.
Cats in space
I often wonder how such good music could have slipped by me.
Not paying attention I guess.
Thanks for posting this. I love it.
Great mix, too many f’ing ads
John Peel and The Ruts.
Unfortunately, Malcolm’s throat problems didn’t improve enormously and very quickly.
kudos! first & best golden palaminos LP .. Arto and everyone on board
big big influenza!!
let’s see.. some .... I.D. !!
My pleasure.
Two great choices!
I got to know Dexter through mutual friends, and I have seen him and company play countless times. Always fantastic.
Due to the concept of the Golden Palominos, obviously, I never saw them live. However, I devoured all of their releases.
What a fantastic band.
And such a great loss.

It’s on repeat....
Dan Baker making elevator music...
I agree. Their best LP. Finding them at a small record store in the early 80s led to discovering so much great music.
Arto Lindsay-Ambitious Lovers
John Lurie-Lounge Lizards
John Zorn-Naked City
Bill Laswell to name a few.
You have good musical taste, Rocky.
I had three cassette copies of Flat Duo Jets & two of In Stereo because I kept wearing them out with my Walkman. Those were the days! Dexter was a refreshing ball of fire back then. Been listening to Carrboro & Dex sounds just as good as always. Cheers!
Can’t get enough of this

Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne...
As much watching as listening. I never cared for the original song, but they are great!
Thins one brought a smile to my face, sometimes I need it...
It's a cover of super cheesy song from way back when.
This was the original
Stazma the jungle christ. This dude is crazy good. Been obsessing over his stuff lately. His tutorials are awesome too.
