11.3 is out
Who's already on it? I'm installing it on my phone first... ?
Comments
Will install it and see if it fixes some AUv3 issues with Cubasis...
(I think we'll see Cubasis 2.4.1 pretty soon).
Having a real PITA trying to freeze Model D, and with the Real-Time Option enabled everything is 'slowed down' and doesn't match project tempo
No change in AUv3 handling under iOS11.3, bummer...
Anyone updated an Air2 yet?
Yup. After a quick test on the phone I jumped right in.
Running fine on my ICA4+ as I type...
What’s new?

Yes, I'm on an Air 2 with iOS11.3...
Well, nothing impressive! Going to wait a few days.
P.S.: thank you, @rthr!
Maybe Garageband is worth a look:
Well I did it because I have my Air 1 with iOS 10 and the ole Novation Circuit like I use most times anymore cuz Air 2 with 11 is such a fail....
I did it for my iPhone 6 and I still have the network connection issues. I can't make or receive calls
. Life is so cruel lol
Seriously?
I would love that.
I hate using the phone.
Fucking still can't connect iTunes to redeem 2 codes for apps fuck me.
Fuck you apple.
Fuck my iPad
Fuck
Anyway.
I read on FB that with 11.3 you can no longer sync to iTunes 12.6 - can anyone confirm? I haven't updated iTunes because I like to download my apps....
Are you running any ad blockers? I know Webblock would block my app store sometimes.
Im still on 10.3 here, 11 sounds like a real train wreck, half a year later and they still don't have the bugs out.
Slowly coming across apps that require it but not many so far.
Me too but I need to Uber around the city lol
Quite a lot of fucks right there mate.
Right, I’m not gonna fuck with 11.3. I’m still on 11.1 and figure “If it ain’t broke, why upgrade?”
That’s twice now having to type in user name and password to log on here
I'll admit this interests me on the 11.3 update:
iPad charge management
Maintains battery health when iPad is connected to power for prolonged periods of time, such as when it is used in kiosks, point of sale systems, or stored in charging carts
Since the CCK USB 3 allows simultaneous use of interface/controller, etc while charging, this may keep battery condition on the good foot. Or at least keep iPads cooler...or is that wishful thinking?
YOOOOOO!!!!
Is this true because I'm on iT12.6 too.
Depends on who you ask... ?

I thought this had been the case since 11.0!
If I disable wifi and bluetooth I won't be able to use Ableton Link with multiple devices or any blue-tooth controllers?!
I'll keep mine turned on for the sake of usability
Unless your phone is 'lost'...
Then it's not so inconvenient.
To be honest I really don't care although I do think stuff should work as expected and not have hidden 'features'.
Communication is key.
That feature is totally awesome! I almost lost my phone if it hadn't been for the 'locate my iPhone' feature...
I was travelling in another country (Philippines) and dropped my phone during a hike and when I noticed it was gone I had to use my iPad to track it down. It would have been a total nightmare to 'comb the jungle' but thanks to the remote beep feature it was quite easy to locate.
So yeah, I keep my Wifi & Bluetooth on at all times
Tracking is more easily done using the cell-towers anyway...
